Win the eBosser!

eBosser Meme Contest

Craftwell is getting YOU ready for the Holidays!

How?  Simply, create an original meme!!!

What is a Meme?

A Meme is an "original" funny poster that is about a certain theme. Think of the Ryan Gosling 'Hey Girl' posters floating around on Pinterest like this one:

Funny huh?! I'm sure that you can tweak the content and make it about another theme, but the idea is that it came from you and that it relates to Craftwell.

Like this one:

(submission by Jennifer Reynolds)

Got it?

Alright! Now for the prize!

Every Monday we will be giving away 1 eBosser to the meme that gets the most 'likes' on our Facebook wall!

All you have to do is create a meme and post as a photo on our Craftwell facebook page, and the meme that gets the most 'likes' will take home the eBosser!

We will giving away an eBosser every Monday in November and we will announce the winner on our blog, and on our facebook page!

RULES:

  • The meme has to be appropriate (no crude language or obscene images)
  • You must become a follower of our blog in order to participate
  • The meme can be about the Teresa Collins eBosser , the eBosser or Craftwell
  • Users outside of the US cannot participate for this contest. Thank you for understanding.

Let the fun begin!

Contest begins November 1st with prizes announced the following week!

Washi Tape Holder

See Misty's creative way of storing her washi tapes! And P.S. She does it in style!

Hello Friends!

Today I have a pretty way to store your washi tape (and cheap too!) I'm late to the whole washi craze, so I only have 6 or seven rolls, but it's kind of a pain to keep them corralled, so when I saw this on Facebook I had to do it! The base is just a Reynolds Wrap box!

1~ CAREFULLY removed the little metal cutting strip from the box
2~ Gently take the box apart so it lays flat
3~ Lay the flattened box onto a piece of card stock. Holding the 2 pieces tightly together, fold both to make creases in the card stock. (do not make the first and last crease because you need to make some allowance in the wrapping process so the card stock isn't too tight around the box.
3~ Start gluing the box 1 section at a time starting in the middle. (If you start on the end, your creases won't match up) After you have everything glued except for the ends, just wrap the cards stock around the end of the box.
4~ Cut the excess card stock away
5~ Reassemble the box. U used binder clips to hold it together until it dried
6~ Add velcro for the closure
7~ Decorate!

The central panel is a 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock embossed with Teresa Collins Beautiful Baroque embossing Folder from Craftwell. I inked it up with Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I stamped the ends with a beautiful stamp from Something Tattered (the stamp is in the Mr. & Mrs. set)

I added a vintage image as a label and used some butterflies that I punched from a Martha Stewart punch.
Love the Prima bling!

I added a decorative strip that I made with another Martha Stewart punch and a little organza butterfly.

My sad little collection of Washi lol

You can see the velcro at the bottom right of this pic.
Thanks so much for peeking at my Project.

Butterfly Felt Bag

The eBosser is amazing at embossing, but did you know you can also die cut? And what types of materials can you die-cut? Well, the eBosser can cut 8 layers of fabric in 1 pass or 4 layers of felt! Celeste Collette is a fan, just check out her project below!

Supplies:
eBosser
Teresa Collins “Sophisticated” embossing folder
“Thinking of you” stamp
Scrap paper
Brads

Lately, I’ve been busy making lots of different felt creations. My six year old now knows that when I’m making something it’s usually for someone else, she will often say “I wish I can have one too...” This time I thought I would make something special for her. She loves butterflies and will dress as one for Halloween, so I made her a felt bag with flowers and a butterfly.

I thought I would surprise her with it and I made this card to go along with it. I wanted her to know that I’m always thinking of her and that lots of my creations are inspired by her!

This card was really simple to make, I had some cute scrap paper in my “scrap box” and since it had butterflies on it I knew it would be perfect. I embossed the paper with Teresa Collins “Sophisticated” embossing folder. I cut out the butterfly from the paper and stamped “thinking of you” right on the paper. To make it stand out I added a foam dot to the back of the cut out paper and butterfly. I wrote a little special message to my little girl and I will surprise her with after school today!

Dead Tree

It's Halloween Week! And we are loving the last few days before we switch our projects to the Thankful Holiday! Today, see how Lyssa Zimmerman turned a Dollar Tree decoration into a "deadly" cute tree  for her mantle!

I can't believe Halloween is this week!  I've loved being able to decorate for my home with such fun products.
My last project for the month is this fun black tree.

Supplies used:

Ebosser Machine
Krylon black spray paint
glue dots
Scotch glue runner
TC Starburst embossing folder
Teresa Collins Masquerade die cuts
Teresa Collins Masquerade Patterned Paper

So I started out with this tree I've had for a while, from the Dollar Tree....so to make is more Halloweeny, I sprayed it black.

I then embellished it all the fun stuff I had on hand.  I loved how it  turned out! Spray paint is pretty awesome.

And here it is on my mantle, right below my flying bats.

Added a little texture/detail to the paper that I put around the pot.  I love embossing!

-Lyssa Zimmerman

Thank you Lyssa!

Can you believe the transformation?! That tree may be made to look dead but it's ALIVE with style!

Scrappin' Friday- Living My Dream

Inspiration, layering, colors. These are all recipes for an amazing scrapbook layout, but how to make it work? Sam goes into some detail to create a dreamy layout!

Happy Friday! It’s Sam again to share another layout on our Scrappin’ Friday post. This layout is inspired by a piece of patterned paper from Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Signature collection.

I am in love with the doilies pattern on the pink background. I have used up this piece of paper so I decided to create a piece of similar paper by cutting doilies die cuts and pink patterned paper.

And this is what I came up with. I die cut the doilies with white and ivory color cardstocks and placed them randomly on my patterned paper.

Loving how soft the layout turned out to be. I also added some word strips and tags on each of the doilies to create some layering and clustering.

Thanks for looking and have a great weekend ahead!

Shadows of Halloween!

Halloween is almost here! See Debi's impressive display project!

Well Halloween is just around the corner and I found the cutest shadow box file going. I knew it was for me and for my Halloween picture project. I am so excited I can’t help it.
So Here It Is!!!

This was so much fun to make and I learned so much about making a shadowbox with one sheet of paper. It was amazing and fun.
Supplies:
  • paper for frame DCWV Teenage Dream Stack love the splattered look
  • Inkadinkado blending chalks
  • metallic markers and Air Spritzer
  • eCraft Diecutable Color Mates solid color paper
  • Pumpkin file SvgCuts free file
  • Shadow box from Lettering Delights
  • eCraft
  • For the Haunted Mansion in the back ground I used We R Memory Keepers Foil Glitter Flock Rub On Kit
  • Xyron Tape Runner (my Fav)

This was very easy I cut out my frame and pumpkins. I then used my eBosser to impress my pumpkins with the Décor Circle  design. I love the look and feel of this design.

Craftwell’s eBosser provides crisp outlines and simply beautiful control over my projects! You can see that I used my chalks to highlight the design and then sprayed the metallic marker on top. I love the rich colors I achieve.

The flocked and glitter rub ons where placed on the picture plane right before I mounted the Pumpkins. I love my Shadow Box.
I love Halloween and can’t wait to see what is ahead!

Happy Halloween,
Debi

Fall Welcome

Fall is here! See how Misty Christensen is preparing for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday!

Fall is in the air and I love it!! This is one of my favorite times of year: Beautiful changing Missouri leaves, sweater and sweatshirt weather and pumpkin beer. (Not really a beer drinker, but I love the pumpkin beer!)

When I received my Teresa Collins Hounds tooth embossing folder I immediately thought fall. Here's why, I was in high school in the late 80's and hounds tooth in  heavy fabrics was hot lol...yes, I'm dating myself. Anyway, it gave me a warm fuzzy when I saw it. I decided to make a Thanksgiving goodie box/bag. Very simple, but who doesn't like to get a little gift?

I embossed the french fry box in my eBosser with the Hounds tooth embossing folder.
I then inked it up Vintage Photo distress ink.

I love, love, love vintage images and thought this was just darling! Again, inked up with Distress ink.

Finally, I added a couple of flowers. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeazy!

The gift bag itself is a gusseted clear bags (filled with Werthers....Had to coordinate with the box! If you want to put something in your box that doesn't match, just line the bag with a coordinating tissue paper)

I tied it closed with a piece of lace and then pinned the charm on with this adorable little garment pin.
Thanks for taking a peek at my little project. If you have a minute come poke around my blog at

Happy Halloween Card

With Halloween only a few weeks away, the girls of our Design Team are really putting out all of the Halloween inspiration out there! See what Celeste Collette created today!

Supplies:
Cardstock
eBosser
Teresa Collins “About time” embossing folder
Pebbles Halloween stickers
Spellbinders thin metal dies “scalloped circles”
Teresa Collins Masquerade Party "Bats"Paper

With Halloween right around the corner I wanted to make a card for my mother, who I don’t get to see very often. When I saw the “Bats” paper from the Teresa Collins “Masquerade Party” Collection I KNEW that was the paper I wanted the card to revolve around! I love the colors and the sophisticated look of the paper.

I went ahead and used the “About Time”embossing folder on this card. I thought that it would add just the right amount of detail to the card. I didn't want my card to look too overwhelming. I like the simpler look and I knew that this folder would do the trick. With a 2 year old  running around all day, time is very limited at my house, so I appreciate how quickly you can make a card using the ebosser and a cute embossing folder. To finish my card, I did add a little bit of stitching. It’s not hard to do if you have a sewing machine. I went around the card a couple of times and I feel like that added just the final detail that the card needed.

What do you think of the card? Do you think my mom will like it?
