Christmas Cards with my Ebrush

It is the time to think about getting those Greeting Cards ready for the wonderful holiday season. Peggy gives us somc great examples and wonderful techniques!

Christmas Cards with my eBrush!

Hello Peggy here, welcome to another tutorial featuring the fabulous Ebrush by Craftwell. Today I am making Christmas Cards.
Todays supplies include:
Ebrush and accessories
Stamps
Versa Mark
Embossing powder
Sharpie Markers
Copic Markers
Gesso
Stickles
Painters tape
Heat tool
Cardstock
Glitter
Clearsnap design adhesive

I started with an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock folded in half on the long side and cut in half at 4 1/4 giving me to cards. I stamped my image with Versa Mark ink and sprinkled black embossing powder on top, shaking off the excess. I heat set and let cool.

Next i stamped the same image on scrap paper and fussy cut to make a mask to place on top of my image. I used my Ebrush to then create a background. I started with blue sharpies spraying an even coat down my card.

Then I sprayed a black sharpie on top of the blue to create a dark winters night. I also wanted to simulate some snow, so I used white gesso (you could also use white acrylic paint) and splattered spots while the mask was still on. After my background was created I colored with copic markers leaving just the snow to be covered with Frosted Lace Stickles.

Here is my result

Next I had some cut images I thought would look great on a card.

So I got my Ebrush and sprayed with green and red sharpies. First my berries then the leaves. I used two shades of green for the leaves spraying the lighter color first. I also used dark green on the edges for definition and drew in the center line.

I used a red piece of cardstock for my next card with the same dimensions as the card above.

I used painters tape to create some metalic gold edges. TIP: Get your desired length of tape and stick it to your cloths a couple times to reduce the stickyness as it may rip your paper as you peel it off.

Below I have two paper ornaments and I am crazy for purple so I decided to color them in the same colors as my tree this year. Purple and Gold.

I used my Ebrush with purple sharpies to cover the ornaments and then I added some detail with the gold. On the one on the right I was able to leave a band around the center without masking.

Next I used painters tape to mask off the purple then I sprayed gold metallic in the center.

Peeling the tape off carefully I now had a perfect stripe. I added dots along the top with my pen and continued to spray the tops.

I stamped a sentiment in versa mark ink and I used a clear embossing powder to create a tone on tone effect and heat set. The only thing left was to assemble. I couldn't have ornaments without a tree so I created a small tree with the help of design adhesives and glitter. Here is my result:

Gold Glitter Shaker Card!

Hello everyone!! Jessica here! I am so sad to say this is my last post this term as a Design Team Member with Craftwell! It has been a great 6 months and I have had such a fabulous time playing with my eBosser and all of our fabulous Sponsors throughout this term!!

This month we got the chance to play with the Brand New Teresa Collins "Stay Connected" die set! I really love how trendy this set it, but their really are soooo many ways to use it!

This week I tried my hand at a shaker card! For months I have been coveting designers shakers cards and, well, since I ADORE gold and glitter I absolutely love this card!

I used the Envelope die. One of the really cool things about this die is the triangles that are the negative images it. It gives you two small triangles, and 1 large one and you can see I used them both in the Shaker and as simple embellishments on the bottom of the card.

Even with everything going on in this card I was still able to keep the clean and simple look I like so well!

Just check out the rest of the dies on this set!!

Quick Tip: Before placing glitter into your Shakers pocket, wipe down with an anti-cling Laundry Sheet.

Pyramid Jewelry Gift Box

Hello Crafty Friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I want to share with you a jewelry box/ ornament. I love the way our July sponsor's cardstock makes any project looks more polished effortlessly ;), gotta love that!

This box is a little bit different from others you have seen around, because I added a jewelry stand to it inside the lid. I hope you give this a try and let us know what you think.

Creative supplies:

Core'dinations Textured Brights collection

Core'dinations Solid Dyed Smooth Texture in Black Cat

Permanent glue

Paper piercing tool

Delicate Dots EF

eBosser

eCraft

Pyramid SVG file

Creative process:

First use any pyramid cutting file or template you might have. I used an svg file and my eCraft. I set the eCraft to 4 for the textured paper and 3 for the smooth textured cardstock. Once I cut all my pieces I ran the individual outter panels thru my eBoser using Craftwell's Delicate Dots embossing folder.

For the stand, I created a cutting file joining two triangles at the top and adding a trapezoid shape at the base. I added the earing holes using a piercing tool. Folded the trapezoid base inwards and glued it to the inner part of the box’s base. Add a ribbon tab to the box’s tab for easy opening. By adding a ribbon loop at the top of the box it becomes an ornament, love how functional this little box can be, don’t you?

Happy Birthday Card with Avery Elle Stamps!

Hello Crafty friends!

Happy Tuesday!!! I am here to share with you another easy project created using some of our fabulous June Sponsor, Avery Elle's products along with the fabulous eBosser.

Creative supplies:

Bonjour Clear Stamps
Bonjour Ellements metal dies
White card stock, patterned paper
Ink: white and black
Adhesive
Marker and fine point permanent pen
Ruler or drafting triangle
white Gelly Roll pen
Ribbon

eBosser plate combo: A + Metal Die + Paper +Metal Shim+ CD
A+EF+paper+ CD
Time: 30+ min

Creative Process:

For the box, I used my eCraft to cut a simple rectangular box, run it through the eBosser and assembled it.

For the card I embossed the base. Stamped the AE sentiment from the Bonjour set and using the permanent pen created the Spotlight effect.

Start by marking a focal point from which to center the spotlight effect. In this case I chose to offset it to the right.

Use the ruler or drafting triangle to draw straight lines between the focal point and each point and curved edge of the letters.

Color in the lined wedges with a marker.

This process takes a while to create so be patient :) I ran the maccaroon through the sticker maker to keep this card as flat as possible. The maccaroon will help to cover the focal point mark

Note Card Set

Liz is a giver! In case you haven't noticed, she loves to craft for friends and shares all her crafty knowledge with everyone!

Today, she has a cute craft you can make multiples of, to share!

Hello Crafty friends!

Liz here today to share with you a little Note Card Set created using the eCraft and eBosser. I love the CAS look of these note cards, I hope you do to :)

Creative supplies:

Teresa Collins Beautiful Words EF

Teresa Collins Wood Grain EF

Core’dinations Card Stock, mine is from TM distress line

Double sided sticky tape

Sand it Gadget for Core’dinations paper

My Creative Time Thin Metal Dies ( 4” stitched square, Hearts)

MCT sentiment

Elastic Ribbon, for mine I used about 9”

Thread and needle

Wooden elements (pine tree to create an arrow for the You + me Card, inspired by DT member Jessica’s card)

Embossing Folder (box and card panels)

eBosser plate combo: ABCD + Metallic Shim for thin metal dies.

Craft Level: Easy

Creative process:

Using the thin metal dies cut your card bases and front panels. If you want any “inlay” cuts, cut them before you emboss your paper, otherwise you will lose some of the embossed detail..

Run your panels through the eBosser. Sand the sections you want to “highlight”. For the hearts I sanded their entire surface area, dusted them and stamped the brown one, before gluing into place.

Place panels on front of cards and you are done! For the envelopes I created CD style envelopes (info on my blog)

The box was cut using the eCraft, from a free file - more info on my blog. Score and glue together. With an elastic ribbon create a band to keep the box closed, by stitching the edges together and adding a tag on top to cover your stitching.

A Treat Box filled with Creepy Delights!

Happy Halloween! Ready for those trick or treaters?! See how Debi prepared for today's holiday with a cute goodie box!

Well Halloween is here and now it is time for the goodies. I love treats and love making them even better looking!

So here is my Spider ladened treat box.

This one is a no brainer…lol. I made up the box and embossed my embellishment tile. I love the drips that I produced with the dylusions ink. I love the Teresa Collins line of embossing folders. I hope that she creates more and more!

Shadows of Halloween!

Halloween is almost here! See Debi's impressive display project!

Well Halloween is just around the corner and I found the cutest shadow box file going. I knew it was for me and for my Halloween picture project. I am so excited I can’t help it.

So Here It Is!!!

This was so much fun to make and I learned so much about making a shadowbox with one sheet of paper. It was amazing and fun.

For the Haunted Mansion in the back ground I used We R Memory Keepers Foil Glitter Flock Rub On Kit

This was very easy I cut out my frame and pumpkins. I then used my eBosser to impress my pumpkins with the Décor Circle design. I love the look and feel of this design.

Craftwell’s eBosser provides crisp outlines and simply beautiful control over my projects! You can see that I used my chalks to highlight the design and then sprayed the metallic marker on top. I love the rich colors I achieve.

The flocked and glitter rub ons where placed on the picture plane right before I mounted the Pumpkins. I love my Shadow Box.

I love Halloween and can’t wait to see what is ahead!

Design Team: Lyssa Zimmerman Week 3 Cycle 8

Going Bats!

Never underestimate the power of details! Especially if we are talking Halloween decor! See how Lyssa made sure ever nook and cranny in her home was spookified!

This week, I needed some more wall decoration! What better way than with bats?!

I have soooo much wall space and it's still blank from moving in.

Supplies used:

TC Starburst embossing folder

Black cardstock

TC Masquerade PP

Tape Runner

So I cut out some bats with my eCraft machine and put them through the Ebosser with a TC embossing folder to add some texture and detail.

This is just the beginning...I have more bats i'll be cutting out, in both black and patterned paper!

K kind of would love this all year long!

Design Team: Debi Tullier Week 2 Cycle 8

A Calorie-Free Treat!

We got the Halloween Bug! And because Debi is such a thoughtful grandma, she came up with a way to treat the kiddies and not add any more sweets to their diet!

This is a great time of year! I love the new to me experience of the changing of the seasons. The Chill in the air and the feeling of anticipation for the things to come. So why not get in the Halloween spirit and move the good times along!

This is my contribution to the wonderful world of adult non-caloric treats!!!

This year I will be away from home and want to scare (in a fun way) my buds! So here is my fun card idea! I used recycled items again to build the foundation of my card.

I love stenciling or masking as a way to achieve a focal point to my back ground. So here is my recipe!

Scraps of Cardstock
Assorted chalks and stamp pads

Gold and silver markers used with the Color Spritzer Tool
Foam dot adhesive and Xyron Megarunner

I first took the cereal box and cut my card out of it. I then coated it with the acrylic chalkboard paint. I had cut out several bats and used the scraps left over to use as stencils or masks to decorate the background of the front of my card. So I laid out the wing shape and used my Color Spritzer tool loaded with a metallic marker to “airbrush” the background.

I also wanted to have maximum “Shock” value when the card is opened so I used Teresa Collins Embossing Folders to create a frightful Boo!

I love the surprise door opening look. I wanted to have pulls to open the “door”, so I used larger bat wings to provide that effect. I have a so much fun designing this one!

Design Team: Lyssa Zimmerman Week 2 Cycle 8

We have Halloween Fever! And our design team seems to have caught it too! See what Lyssa Zimmerman created for her mantle!

I am becoming a big fan of Halloween.

It may or may not help that I have my hands of adorable stuff to work with.

So I can make something like this:

What we got here is:

-An Ikea Frame

-EBosser

TC "Starburst" Embossing Folder

-Teresa Collins Masquerade Party Paper, Dots, Pop-Outs Etc.

-Orange Cardstock

-Black Sequins from Teresa Collins Memorabilia Collection

-Black Cardstock

-Ecraft Machine

I took a white frame that I had lying around. I cut out the Orange cardstock to 5x7 then ran it through the Ebosser with the Starbursts embossing folder. I then took out the glass of the frame and put the orange paper in the frame.

I then made an accordion flower with some PP. Used Embellishments from the same collection. I used my Ecraft to cut out the "31".

My favorite detail is the Black sequins that cover the numbers to give it that extra POP!
