Design Team: Lyssa Zimmerman Week 4 Cycle 8

Dead Tree

It's Halloween Week! And we are loving the last few days before we switch our projects to the Thankful Holiday! Today, see how Lyssa Zimmerman turned a Dollar Tree decoration into a "deadly" cute tree  for her mantle!

I can't believe Halloween is this week!  I've loved being able to decorate for my home with such fun products.
My last project for the month is this fun black tree.

Supplies used:

Ebosser Machine
Krylon black spray paint
glue dots
Scotch glue runner
TC Starburst embossing folder
Teresa Collins Masquerade die cuts
Teresa Collins Masquerade Patterned Paper

So I started out with this tree I've had for a while, from the Dollar Tree....so to make is more Halloweeny, I sprayed it black.

I then embellished it all the fun stuff I had on hand.  I loved how it  turned out! Spray paint is pretty awesome.

And here it is on my mantle, right below my flying bats.

Added a little texture/detail to the paper that I put around the pot.  I love embossing!

Thank you Lyssa!

Can you believe the transformation?! That tree may be made to look dead but it's ALIVE with style!
