Airbrush Pattern Planter

Happy Friday!!

Katie here with another fun airbrushed planter project. Great project on your own or with kids.

Also could make for a nice gift with a plant.

Materials

Craftwell eBrush Airbrush System

Sharpie markers

Spectrum Noir markers

Medium size plastic planter from Target

Pattern stencils from Amazon

Painter's tape

Disposable gloves (optional)

I kept it simple by just using one stencil and keeping the colors in shades of blue and purple.

Very important: always test your colors before using to make sure it's what you want.

Since I didn't want to use the whole pattern design, I use the painter's tape to cover up the parts I didn't want and position however I want. That's the fun part, you can create however you want and wherever on the planter.

Went with the idea of positioning the pattern differently and making gradients with the colors I chose as well. Below you can see how they came out.

To add a little something, I airbrushed the inside of the planter and you could do the same or even make a pattern there as well.

I hope everyone liked my planter project and got inspired.

Until next time!

Pumpkin Shaker Magnet

Hi Everyone!

Katie here with another project and it's perfect for fall or even Halloween.

This was a joint project, I worked together with my sister as she was going on a Disney Cruise with her husband and kids, and they signed up to exchange gifts with other families.

So I suggested the idea of making pumpkin shaker magnets to make it special, festive and inexpensive. Also she needed to make about 10 of them.

Materials

eBrush Airbrush System
Sharpie markers
10 Wood shaped pumpkins (from Michaels)
X-Acto Knife
Orange cardstock
Double-sided adhesive foam tape
Variety sequins pack (from Amazon)
Halloween nail art kit (from Amazon)
Acetate sheet

For those who don't have those fancy electronic cutting machines to cut-out your designs (that's us), the designs were cut-out with a X-Acto knife and be careful! For the acetate sheet, cut shapes similar to the pumpkin (don't worry you can use scissors).

Took the eBrush to airbrush both the wood pumpkins and frames with just using an orange and green shade from Sharpie.

The fun part (at least I think so), assembling the shaker and have fun choosing the inside pieces (my sister had her daughter help).

Here's the finished product:

Hope you guys like this project and get inspired to make your version.
Happy Halloween!!

Airbrushed galaxy cake

Hello,

Today I'm here with a galaxy theme cake decorated using Craftwell eBrush

I began with baking cake and frosted completely using colors blue, pink, purple, black to bring the galaxy effect. I also made planets using fondant.

To bring more galaxy effect, I have used Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit with silver luster dust mixed with lemon extract. Then airbrushed then and there on the cake to bring sparkly effect.

Attaching my work for reference.

Shimmering Pearl Cake

Hello everyone! This month I'm with a simple pearl shimmering cake.  I baked an 8 inch moist cake and covered it with cream shade fondant. The client asked for shimmering effect on cake. Hence I have used silver luster dust mixed with lemon extract and airbrushed using Craftwell eBrush & siphon kit.

Unicorn Cake

Hello everyone!

My post for this month is a cute unicorn 🦄 Cake decorated using Craftwell eBrush with siphon kit.

I started by baking a cake and frosting it, then set them up for designing. Main feature of the unicorn 🦄 was the single spiral horn. To make the design, I rolled out some fondant into a spiral horn and placed it on a stand for airbrushing. Here I used the siphon kit and airbrushed it with an edible gold color.

Attached the video for reference.

Here is the final look of unicorn cake:

Thank you everyone for stopping by! Have a wonderful week ahead.

Apple Mousse cake

Hi folks! This is Lavanya with an Apple Mousse cake today. This is something which I wanted to try a long back.

I began making a white chocolate mousse and gently poured it into an apple silicon mold and froze it overnight. Next day, I de-molded the mousse cake and placed it on a cake tray.

I also made a mirror glaze and poured it on the top of cake to get the mirror effect. Though I was not satisfied with the color and glaze effect alone, I grabbed my Craftwell eBrush to add a red color in siphon kit.

The below picture shows the final look of a cake:

Thanks for stopping by!!

Unicorn cake and Cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday!!

Hello its Swathi here from Cookies Cake n Love. Hope everyone is safe and sane during these testing Pandemic times. We have been locked at home now for a little over 3 months now. My baby girl turned 1 last week and I felt even though we were midst of a pandemic, I wanted to make her birthday memorable for us as well as for her when she looks at pictures when she is older.

So we decided to do a socially distanced birthday party with our friends who have been at home like us for the past three months. I decided on the unicorn theme hoping something magical like the unicorn will happen and save us from this pandemic.

I made a biscoff cookie cake and cupcakes with biscoff cookie butter filling and white chocolate buttercream icing. I made few fondant accents for the cake and cupcakes. I let them dry for sometime before I applied color.

I colored them gold shade of US cake supply airbrush color using my Craftwell eBrush with the siphon system. The gold was kind of tricky to apply as it clogged up the tube of the siphon kit. I later diluted the gold color with a little water as I dint have alcohol with me at home. It was a little runny and light but I let it dry for sometime and colored two more coats to get a brighter shade.

Thank goodness for my Craftwell eBrush, other wise it would have taken forever to paint these small fondant accents. Since the weather was a bit humid in Kansas, I dabbed it with a little powdered sugar to make the accents dry quicker.

Hope you liked my post and inspires you to make some goodies for your loved ones at home. Stay safe everyone.

Thank you,
Swathi

eBrush Wall Art

Hi everyone! This is Lavanya with a different work today but this time not on the cake. I thought of using Craftwell eBrush in crafts since I am in a situation to engage my little son in daily activities.

He got excited when I placed the eBrush on the counter. So we started airbrushing in a card using Play-Doh cutter of shapes butterflies and flowers. It was really fun in working with airbrush since he enjoyed spraying colors on the card.

He also sprayed three different colors on another card and touched with oil pastel silhouette trees depicting nature in evening, night and day

Though it's not perfect, but I am happy to share his work here and the way he handled eBrush with his tiny hands.

Thanks everyone!!
Stay home Stay Safe

With love and care,
Lavanya
