“Bliss” Acrylic Tag by Karen Jiles

Hi there,

It’s Karen, sharing a “Bliss” Acrylic Tag that I created with the Snapshots Embossing Folder and the Cut N Boss machine. I really like how this came out. The embellishments I chose really complimented the embossing folder well.  I coordinated the use of the folder with some crinkled ribbon, flowers, stencil, charm and gesso. This a fun way to incorporate different patterns  and embellishments in a simple project. Take a peek at my tutorial below.
Supplies:

Acrylic Tag
Gesso
Glimmer Mist
Swiss Dot Stencil
Flowers
Beaded Pin
Art Pebbles
Dyed Ribbon
Charm

Tutorial:

Step 1: Place acrylic tag into the “Snapshots” embossing folder. Close the folder and insert into the Cut N Boss machine.

Step 2: Remove the acrylic tag from the Cut N Boss and the embossing folder.
Step 3: Stencil on swiss dot pattered using gesso to the top of the tag. Let dry and punch hole in the center top area of the tag.
Step 4: Spray Glimmer Mist onto tag. Let dry and add ribbon.
Step 5: Adhere flowers, beaded pin and art pebbles to the tag.
Step 6: Highlight embellishments with gesso. Add charm and additional ribbon. Tap gesso over the tag using a paintbrush. Continue embellishing as desired.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope that this “Bliss” Acrylic Tag has inspired you.

Karen
