Stained Glass Lilies

Hello everyone! It's Berina here with my first post today. I don't know about you, but I'm eagerly waiting for Spring! Here's my Spring-y Thank You card.

I gold embossed the image from Inspired By Stamping - Friends Forever stamp set on vellum and colored it from behind using Copic markers. I used RV29, RV14 and RV13 for the pink and G99, YG67, YG 63 and YG03 for the green. I love that this looks like stained glass. Now I took an A2 card base and die cut a oval from the center of the front of the card. I die cut the oval in the exact same position on a pink pearlescent card stock. This pink card stock is from one of the Valentine themed paper packs I bought from Target. I also embossed the pink card stock with Darice Ornate Frame embossing folder. I adhered the vellum on the backside of the pink card stock, so that the lilies are visible through the oval window. I adhered this on to the A2 card base so that the oval windows line up exactly. I die cut the sentiment on a golden card stock (from the same Target paper pack) and adhered it on to the card. Here's another pic of the card showing the oval window with the 'stained glass' lilies.

I hope you liked my card today. I will be back soon with more inspiration! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
