Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Pam Bray Cycle 11
Hi!!! It is Pam here today on the Craftwell Blog sharing with how easy it is to take inexpensive frames and make them into fabulous wall art.
Begin by cutting 12 strips of Core'dinations paper. Run them through the Xyron Creative Station using 9" Permanent Adhesive.
Leaving them on the adhesive, place in the Love Triangles Embossing Folder, make sure to remember to turn 6 the opposite direction so the pattern will be going in the right directions.
Lightly sand the pieces while they are still on the adhesive sheet with a sanding block.
Run three 4" squares through Xyron Creative Station.
(Changing the Xyron Creative Station from the 9" Permanent refill to the 5" Permanent refill is easy, just lift the lever and add the adhesive.)
Die cut 3 scallop circles from grey Core'dinations paper, 3 medium flowers, two small flowers, two butterflies, two diamonds and two leaves using your Cut N' Boss, 2 "A" plates, "B" plate, steel shim, and platform. (It is so nice to be able to run several dies at one time, along with using different brand of dies at the same time.)
Emboss using 3 different embossing folders with 2 "A" plates and platform. It so nice that you can use more than one embossing folder at time in your Cut N' Boss!!!!
Run the embossed scallop circles through the Xyron Creative Station.
Take the embossed circles off adhesive sheet and add to center of frame. Adhere one butterfly to center of frame, add second butterfly by gluing the center and bending the wings up. Add a metal pen tip for body.
Adhere a matted journal block to the center of one of the frames along with a few flags. Adhere one diamond die cut to the journal block, adding the second on top with pop dots.
Roll the flower die cuts using a stylus and soft mat to form flowers, layer them together and add a metal center.
Place made flower to center of frame, adhere the two die cut leaves. Add metal arrows, frames and buttons to each frame. Add epoxy circles to the corners of the frame to finish your wall art frames.
I hope you enjoyed my Laugh Often Altered Wall Art project. I hope you go to your favorite craft store and find some small frames to alter using Craftwell fabulous embossing folders and die cuts. Thank so much for visiting with us today and don't forget that each day here on the Craftwell Blog it is always full of inspiration. Hugs Pam
