Embossed Chalkboard Effect

Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Suzanna Lee Cycle 11

Suzanna Lee shows us how to create a gorgeous chalkboard effect using the Cut 'n' Boss and your favorite embossing folders! Check out the step by step of her technique here!

Hi there Craftwell and Xyron fans! Suzanna here today to share with you how to create an embossed chalkboard effect for all those back to school layouts! Some of you may be back at school already and have pictures awaiting scrapping, others of you, like me, will have to wait for those pictures. Or, use last years!

To create this effect you will need to gather the following supplies;

Run your black cardstock through the Craftwell Cut'NBoss in the "Alpha" TC/Craftwell embossing folder using the following sandwich;

Take a piece of chalk and, holding it sideways, rub chalk over the raised/embossed letters.

Then layer all your goodies to build your layout!

Use your Xyron 1.5" or 3" Sticker Makers to apply adhesive to the die cut embellishments that were also cut using the Craftwell Cut'NBoss for just the right amount of stick!

And there you have it, back to school with Craftwell and Xyron!
