Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! This is Berina here, with a quick and simple birthday card perfect for a girl!

My daughter had a My Little Pony themed birthday and I wanted to make a card using the beautiful colors. So I inked the card base with light pink, purple, yellow and mint in a alternate fashion in diagonal. Then I die cut Spellbinders - Amazing Paper Grace - Swirl Heart on a gold glitter card stock and adhered it on to the card base. I die cut the sentiment using Creative Expressions - Belated Birthday Wishes die on black card stock and snipped off the 'belated'. I used SNAP to die cut.

I didn't know what to expect when I thought about making this card, but I do like how it turned out. What do you think? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Mermaid Birthday

Hello everyone! This is Berina here with a Mermaid shake birthday card today.

I used the Hero Arts - Reef Border to die cut the top panel. I then colored the panel with Copics. I used a mix of sparkle blends from Doodles Paper Playground for the shaker mix. I then die cut the sentiment using the Brutus Monroe die Happy Birthday on gold color card stock. I then assembled the card using foam tape for the shaker.

How do you like this card? Please do let me know in the comments. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone! This is Berina with a last minute Christmas card. If you are like me, still making Christmas cards, you would definitely appreciate how fast and easy it is to create this one :)

I used the Memory Box - Blooming Tree die and die cut it out of white card stock. This is a pretty old die, but I love how elegant it is. I colored the die cut with my Copics - just quick coloring with little shading. I matted an A2 card base with green and white card stock and adhered the tree on it. The sentiment is from Altenew - Poinsettia and Berries. When making multiples of a card, I always prefer to do in batches. I did 4 of these cards at the same time. My SNAP comes in real handy for making multiples.

How do you like this card today? Please do let me know. Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate! Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Red Christmas Ornament

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, with a Christmas card - I know it's August, but I do like to get started on making a few different designs early and then decide on the one which I will be making for my family in India. Since this goes overseas, I like to mail them before Thanksgiving.

I used the Noel Ornament die set from Heartfelt Creations. I love the red and gold combo. I used ivory card base and layered gold and ivory card stock. To ground the ornament I added a holly bough, die cut with Sizzix Mini Holiday Greens die set and added a few red pearls as berries. For the sentiment, I used Divinity Designs Christmas Mini Set. I used my Craftwell SNAP to die cut all the elements.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Pink and Coral Flowers

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, sharing a beautiful summery floral card using 3D Embossing Folders on Cut N Boss.

I used the Altenew 3D Embossing Folders on my Craftwell Cut N Boss for this card. You might have seen me using some of these before too. I used the Decorative Florals 3D Embossing Folder to emboss the beautiful florals on an oval die cut. Then I used my alcohol markers to color the embossed image. It's really easier to achieve this no-line coloring look on these embossed florals than it looks. For the background, I embossed a coral card stock with Illusion Triangles, also from Altenew. The sentiment is die cut using Altenew - Fancy Thanks die on my SNAP. I also decided to make a matching envelope by embossing the lower part of the envelope with the same embossing folder.

I love how this card turned out. What do you say? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Calla Lilies

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today with a elegant floral card.

I love these Calla Lilies from Heartfelt Creations. I have had them for quite some time now. I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves and colored them with inks. Then I used my flower shaping tools to give them some definition. I colored few Q tips with yellow ink for the center part of the calla lilies. To assemble them, I used hot glue gun. I also stamped and die cut some fillers from Heartfelt Creations - Tulip Vase & Fillers. For the card base, I used a 5x7 Ivory card base. I die cut few frames from the Heartfelt Creations - Royal Elegance Frames on gold card stock. The sentiment is from Just Rite stamps. This is one of my favorite sets for sentiments, mainly because of the font. I also die cut a design from Heartfelt Creations - Swirly Accent Spray and added them to the card.

How do you like my card today? Please do let me know. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Simple Thanks

Hello everyone!! This is Berina here today with a simple card that can be made in batches.

It's nearing the end of school year and I've been experimenting with quick and elegant cards to give to the teachers as sets. This is on of the designs. I used the Crafters Companion Victoriana die for this card. For the sentiment, I chose the Altenew Fancy Hello, which pairs so elegantly with the Victoriana die. I used my SNAP to die cut them. It's pretty simple to die cut and assemble the card. I could die cut all at once and then assemble them. That would be pretty quick and easy I think.

What do you think about this card? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Bumble Bee Birthday

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, with a shaped birthday card.

I made a hexagon shaped card for my son's 1st birthday. We decided to do a bumble bee theme for his first birthday. I love making the banner and decor for my kids birthdays, this one was no exception. I made this birthday card and tag to go with his gift. I used the Create and Craft Hexagon dies to cut the shaped card. The bumble bee and the other a hexagonal lace piece are dies from Spellbinders. I die cut all of these on my SNAP. The sentiment is from Inspired By Stamping. I added a few drops of Nuvo in black. Here's a close up of the card:

The tag uses similar elements, it's just smaller in size.

Here are a few pics of the decor and the cake that I made, from the day.

How do you like my creation today? Do let me know. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day!
