DT: Happy Birthday Card

Dear Scrappers,

This is Veronica, from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing my post for Craftwell:
For this post, I decided to recycle a stamped image I made for a previous post and make it a card for a friend:

I had heat embossed the bluebonnet image on watercolor paper and used water colors to paint it. Now I used the colored image and mounted on a blank card using 3D dots.

Here are the materials I used and a short tutorial:

This is the final card:

I hope you enjoyed my daughter's creation and please make sure to visit my blog for more inspiration and to follow me.

Happy July and stay safe from this pandemic.

Summer Birthday Flowers

Hello everyone!! Welcome back to our blog. This is Berina here today, with this Summer birthday card with lot of flowers:

I started by taking a card base of size 6" x 6". I cut out the matting layers in yellow and white and die cut the Ornate Oval at the center of all layers using the die set from Divinity Designs. I die cut the trellis background using the Trellis die set from Dare 2B Artzy on Rinea gold foil card stock. I adhered this on the window, in between the layers. Now I die cut a lot of flowers using the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms on Orange and Yellow card stock and shaped them. I die cut some leaves using the Spellbinders Foliage die set and some swirls using the Spellbinders Floral Flourishes die set. I arranged them all together on the card base and adhered them. I stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday" from Brutus Monroe Sharon's Script stamp set on a piece of yellow card stock and cut it out in to a banner and added it. I added 1 final die cut - using the Heartfelt Creations Swirly Accent Spray die set. Here's a close up on the details:

A lot of die cutting went in to this, thanks to my Cut N Boss. I love how it turned out, with the bright Summer-y colors and golden accents. Please do let me know your thoughts! Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day.

Apple Mousse cake

Hi folks! This is Lavanya with an Apple Mousse cake today. This is something which I wanted to try a long back.

I began making a white chocolate mousse and gently poured it into an apple silicon mold and froze it overnight. Next day, I de-molded the mousse cake and placed it on a cake tray.

I also made a mirror glaze and poured it on the top of cake to get the mirror effect. Though I was not satisfied with the color and glaze effect alone, I grabbed my Craftwell eBrush to add a red color in siphon kit.

The below picture shows the final look of a cake:

Thanks for stopping by!!

With love,

DT: Wonderful Card by a Junior Crafter

Dear Scrappers,

This is Veronica, from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing my post for Craftwell:
For this post, my daughter helped me make a card for a friend's birthday. My daughter just became 11yo and is a great crafter. She likes to craft with me, but as much on her own ;-(

She used some DCWV Unicorns and Rainbows paper, the "wonderful" tag die from Craftwell, some tape runner, some ribbon, and some Recollection stamps using her PowderPuff chalk inks:

The back of her card:

 The inside of the card:

Here, I will let her pictures tell the story:

She came up with her card design and decided that it needed something else inside, so she stamped a peacock image using two PowderPuff inks at the same time:

She then wrote her sentiment and signed her card.

She was super quick and efficient using the SNAP diecutting machine. I will be introducing more paper crafting during the summer and will share with you her progress.

I will post in the following weeks the card I made.

I hope you enjoyed my daughter's creation and please make sure to visit my blog for more inspiration and to follow me.

Happy July and stay safe from this pandemic.
