Hugs & Kisses Game Box

Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Pam Bray Cycle 12

 Happy Valentine week Craftwell Fans!!!
I made a fun Hugs and Kisses (X's & O's) Game Box for my grand kids and hope to inspire you to create a few for your family or make as gifts!!!!

I began by painting the inside an out of a 8" x 8" Matchbox.

Once dry ... cut one side of the top of box so it will be easier to get into the game box to play.
Cover the sides of the box inside and out using pretty Valentine Paper.
I used Graphic 45 Mon Amour Collection.

Die cut nine 2" square red squares from card stock.
Run them through your Craftwell Cut N Boss using Teresa Collins So In Love Embossing Folder.

Run border strips and embossed squares through the Xyron Creative Station.

Adhere to the bottom of the box in rows of 3.

Die cut X's & O's from pattern paper using the platform, shim, metal plate and two A plates.
Run through Craftwell's Cut N Boss.

Change the permanent adhesvie to the laminate cartridge.
Laminate the X's and O's.
Cut around each piece with scissors to separate.

Your game is ready to play and game pieces are protected.
Decorat a small premade envelop to place all the game pieces in,
it will help to keep them together also.

To decorate the top of the Hugs and Kisses Game Box...
First, die cut doily and star from the Teresa Collins Lover's Lane Pocket Die Set
using the platform, shim, metal plate and two A plates.

Also the Heart Border...

Adhere to top of prepared box.
Add the Love Heart to top with pop dots.
Add key and enamel dots to top.

Place some fun metals to form the closure along with ribbon to tie the box together once the game board has been set inside.

Adhere the heart banner to top of the box top along with a few buttons to finish decorating the top of the Hugs and Kisses Game Box.

I hope you enjoyed my Hugs & Kisses Game Box and remember this is to inspire you!!!
So think of other games you might be able to create not just for Valentines but other holidays and birthdays. My next one is a rendition of Connect Four!!!
