eBrush and Dreaming Tree meet up again....

eBrush Design Team: Jan Hunter Week 2 Cycle 3

HI Everyone!  Jan, here.  If you haven't already, it's definitely time to get started on some Christmas cards!

I've been wanting to create some Bendi cards for a while -- I was so happy when I saw this set from Dreaming Tree recently!  Thanks, Leo and Kyle for another great kit to work with!

 Bendicards-dreamingtree

Hoping you'll like my version as much as I like theirs.

You'll need:
eBrush
SN, SP and AD with foam cushion hack
Markers (Sharpie, Spectrum Noir, Stampin' Up Classic)
White cardstock
electronic cutting machine and software
Ode To Joy (Bendi card by Dreaming Tree)
Versa Mark Ink
White embossing powder
embossing folders as desired (for "wall" and tree)
Cut n' Buss
Glue, pop dots (platform and plates)
mini-half pearls (colored with deep red marker)
background stamps (CTMH retired; Stampin' Up! and unknown)
heat gun

For this project, I cut all my pieces in white cardstock since I wanted to create some fun texture and to play with color using the eBrush.

Emboss the "wall" and the tree with the desired embossing folders and the Cut n' Boss.  Spray with colors as desired.  Embellish as desired.

Using a gold sharpie, color the top layer of the sentiment, (Ode to Joy) and the centers of the O's and D.  Set aside.  Color the ribbon and bow layer with the gold marker as well.

Using the Versamark ink and a stamp, stamp the layers of the presents,  sprinkle white embossing powder generously to ensure coverage.  Tap off the excess.  Heat emboss the paper.  Add the desired color using the eBrush.  Wipe off any excess color so the white embossed area shows through.  Repeat for the other two layers and the windows.

Using the Assembly video available here, complete the process of putting the card together.

Here's another picture of my completed project.  I'm in love with it.  I'm hoping to get a dozen or more of these cut and completed shortly.

AND A BIG Thanks to Dreaming Tree for the fabulous opportunity to work with your files this month!  What a treat it has been!

Hope you'll have some time to spend in your craft room soon! Wishing you some happy creative time
