Like, Hello!

Design Team: Pam Bray Week 21 Cycle 9

We are loving the 'Stay Connected' social media dies from Teresa Collins & Craftwell! All month long we are featuring projects created with the stay connected dies, and today, Pam Bray proves that you can add a little bit of social media to a romantic card. See her tutorial below!

"Like" Hello!!! So glad you stopped by today to check out my project. I want to share with you also that I am using the new Cut N Boss Stay Connected Die Set today. It is "like" totally cool. LOL I couldn't help myself.

I started my card by getting the platforms layered along with my gold vellum pattern paper, nesting frame die and ran them through the eBosser. I repeated the same steps using a pattern paper and two of the dies from the Cut N Boss Stay Connected Set.

My background was made by using a piece of light blue Core'dinations paper and the Woodgrain Teresa Collins Embossing Folder, lightly sanding and layering it to my card base. Once on add the gold pattern paper that was previously die cut and two of Teresa Collins Studio Gold Easy Page pieces.

I did a play on words by adding "Like" from the Cut N Boss Stay Connected Set. I think it gives the card a fun sentiment.

The corner is also from the set which gives a great additional element to my card along with epoxy enamels.

Here is a closer look at the Cut N' Boss Stay Connected Die Cut Set from Craftwell. So stay tuned for more fun and inspiring projects from the design team.

Hugs Pammejo

  1. I'm old fashioned and totally resent the way a hyphen is now a "dash" a pound/number sign is now a, "hashtag" a ZERO is now called an, "O" which is a letter of the alphabet not a number, what else are they going to change? My feeling is that today's kids don't get much of an education and not one person under the age of 30 can tell you what these symbols really do stand for.

  2. I think this project is awesome! Most social media icons are found in very modern projects, but I love how you married both modern and traditional without it fighting each other! Very well done!

  9. Pam, I love the way you created a somewhat Victorian styled floral arrangement but played with bright colors and elements that kept this card fun and modern. I adore using a geotag for an arrow! I do that all the time. :) That's "like" cool! ;)
