  2. Maybe someone here can answer this. I bought this machine. I love it. I used the dies that came with it (HSN deal) and they cut into the plate labeled A. (yes...I sandwiched properly, as per the directions, cutting side up, then paper, then A-B-A). Is this normal?

    1. Charlotte,

YES! It's totally normal to have some indentations on the A plate as it is a consumable. It will get pretty rough, and then you will need to replace, but it takes a while. Not something that you need to do right away. We often tell people to flip over once in a while so both sides get the beating evently and extend the life of the plate. 4. I have only just bought the ebosser. What are the differences, (if any) between this and the new one?

    1. Hello Susan,

We apologize for the delay in reply. To answer your question, the NEW TC Cut 'n' Boss is the new generation eBosser.

The new machine is a bit more compact, and requires less plates to operate. Making it lighter, and a bit faster that it's first generation. To learn more about our products, please visit www.craftwellusa.com

  5. I have both, but just beginning to play with the new one. One thing, the sandwiches are completely different, and the book doesn't list any info on embossing with dies like Spellbinders. On the older one the manual had you first cutting it, using the magnetic plate, then replacing this with the rubber mat, and running it through again. The new one has no rubber mat which came with it, so I am wondering how do you emboss your Spellbinders and dies like them. Also, I cannot find the info for sandwiches for other dies on the website. The new manual says to go there for other sandwich recipes. Help please.

  7. How do I cut and emboss in one pass, and what rubber mat will work with the Cut 'N' Boss. The HSN combo didn't come with one. Also what combo sandwich to use when I finally get a mat? Thanks!

    1. Nadine,

Thank you for stopping by! To answer your question, you can use all of the eBosser platforms on the Cut 'n' Boss, you just can't use the C + D at the same time, but you can in different platform combinations. For more info, contact our support at cs@craftwellusa.com.
