Design Team: Celeste Collette Week 19 Cycle 8

With Love

Valentine's Day is only a few days away! And today, Celeste Collette created a cute card for her sweetheart. See her project below!

Supplies:

eBosser
Spellbinders thin metal dies
Embossing folder “Regency”
3 1 ½ inch strips of scrapbooking paper
White Cardstock paper
Ink Pad
Embellishing brads
Glue
Lace ribbon

When it comes to Valentines cards I’m not a huge fan of the traditional colors, for this card I wanted to think outside the box. As you all already know, I love fun bright colors! So I went ahead and decided to make a card full of color, maybe I’m just ready for spring!

The first thing I did to make this card was to fold the cardstock in half and run it through the ebosser with the embossing folder “Regency.” I love this folder, it makes anything look fancy. I used the ebosser to cut out the orange tag and the white cardstock tag using the Spellbinders thing metal dies, which I love because they also emboss. With some of my daughters washable markers I inked up the rubber stamp that I had bought for Valentines. Once I started to piece together the card I wanted to add some lace ribbon that I had on hand to the back of the orange tag, I just thought that it added an extra delicate touch to the card.

I really like how this card turned out, from start to finish it probably took 10 minutes!! What do you think?
