Family Frame
Teresa Collins 'Family Stories' collection really lends itself to home decor, pair that with her new eBosser, embossing folder line and you have the recipe for some serious stylish & classy home decor projects! Which is exactly what Celeste Collette had in mind with today's project!
Yes, I do have another tutorial on a family picture frame, this time I get to use some of Teresa Collins collection!!! The making of this picture frame décor was really easy to make with her Memorabilia and Family Stories collection.
Here’s what I used:
Paper: Teresa Collins Family Stories “Doily” paper (background)
Border Strip: Teresa Collins “Captured” from her Memorabilia collection
Tag: Teresa Collins “Together” tag from her Memorabilia Die Cut Accessories
Embossing Folder: Teresa Collins Décor Circles
I had this old picture frame that the glass broke on it and so I decided that it would perfect for this project. We had another family picture taken last month and I was excited to get it up in our family room, I didn’t want a plain looking picture and when I got some of Teresa Collins collections in the mail I was excited to use them. For the background paper I used the “Doily” paper from her Family Stories collections, I just LOVE the color and the design on the paper. I went ahead and layered the salmon color looking paper that I had embossed with the Teresa Collins “Décor Circles” folder with a plain yellow paper, burlap and the 5x7 family picture. I decided I wanted to add a little more to the frame so when I saw the “Captured” border I knew it was perfect for the family picture, I also added the “together” die cut next to the family picture. To add a little dimension to this project I went ahead and used the adhesive foam dots and added them behind the family picture, captured border and together tag, that made them “POP”. I just love how this looks in my family room and I just love Teresa’s designs, I think they are beautiful and can bring any project to life.
(I just wanted to show how good of job the ebosser did with the embossing folder and I love how it added texture to the frame)
