Guest Designer: Jazmin Gibbons Week 9 Term 6

Cake Challenge: Part 1

We are here with another first part-er of the Photofrost cake project! Jazmin Gibbons is our guest designer for this tutorial today! See who she brought on board for this challenge!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be part of this cake challenge! Laurie, opted out of this challenge as it was valid to do so, and so I decided to create something... but who am I kidding?! I can't bake!

So, I invited my talented friend Marilee Woodfield to play with the eBosser, and some Photofrost fondant sheets! Marilee is a very talented cake decorator in my area, and had not worked with the eBosser before, and was a bit skeptical as she whips out all her creations by hand, but I showed her the ropes, and she created an amazing cake!

But just so you know how talented she is, here is one of the cake's she created for my daughters birthday! It was a vintage Barbie theme, and she knocked it out of the park!

Back to the challenge. I gave Marilee some gold Photofrost sheets, and Marilee was inspired to make a three tier wedding cake! Not to mention, she choose the Regency embossing folder to add elegance to the cake!

Marilee was inspired by the gold and the white of this picture:

She wanted to use the Regency folder and gold fondant to translate the picture above..

So stay tuned for next week when we break down the details of the cake for you!

And, you don't want to miss the reveal in a few weeks! Marilee made an amazing cake, and created a unique look!

Jazmin

Thank you Jazmin!

Are you loving the Photofrost cake challenge? Have you tried to emboss more than paper on your eBosser? We want to know!
