Cake Challenge: Part 2

We are back with Part 2 of the Cake Challenge with Photofrost fondant! And just how easy it is to emboss fondant?

See below!

Hi Everyone! I'm back to show you how I was able to help Marilee emboss most of the details of the cake. As you all know, she is the genius behind the design, but I did her her emboss most of the details on the cake!

I was a little worried, that the fondant was thin, but that worry quickly vanished when I ran the first piece of fondant through! Conviniently, Photofrost fondant comes in a perfect size! It's just a little over lettersize, and I was able to run sheets through the eBosser fast! For our project we used gold fondant, but I wanted to show you how it was done on some of the extra fondant.

Now, of course you all know that the eBosser is not made to cut or emboss food, but I used my common sense to line my fondant with some wax paper and ran the fondant sheet, through the eBosser as I would paper. The wax paper was only there to project my fondant from touching the embossing folder, but in no way did that change the embossed result!

And look at the end result! So crisp and gorgeous!

Come back next week as I reveal the complete cake!

Thank you Jazmin!

Are you as impressed with the embossing the eBosser creates on fondant with only ONE pass?!
