Hello Everyone! I’ve been having the best time creating with the Crafter’s Companion Kathleen Francour Poker Face Set! I thought it was perfect for an altered playing card ATC. The metal charms on the ATC are embossed blanks using regular plastic embossing folders in my eBosser. How cool is that?!? The power of the eBosser is amazing. Embossing metal is just so easy now!

Vintage Playing Card
Silks Acrylic Glaze (snap dragon, stargazer, fuzzy peach, solar gold, love struck)
StazOn Jet Black ink
Vintaj Natural Brass 1” blanks
Tim Holtz/Sizzix Poker Face embossing set
Sanding Block
Metal Brad
White cs
Ranger Archival Jet Black ink
Distress Ink (walnut stain, broken china, picked raspberries, vintage photo)
Instructions: Color a playing card with various colors of Silks Acrylic Glaze by brushing it on. When dry, sand the edges a bit and ink with walnut stain Distress Ink. Stamp the Poker Lady using StazOn Jet Black. Stamp the words using Archival Jet Black and cut the words apart. Ink with Distress Inks. Emboss brass metal blanks using your eBosser and regular plastic folders. I tape my metal blanks into the spot I want before closing the folder. The plate sandwich combination is the regular eBosser embossing order (from bottom: D, C, embossing folder with metal blank, A.) Paint the embossed charms with Silks Acrylic Glaze and then sand the raised areas to reveal the brass. Attach to the ATC with a metal brad.
