Spring Nosegay
Spring is here for a little and then leaves again.. but you can have Spring anywhere when you create! See what Debi has created today!
I am so excited about the possibility of Spring actually occurring. Most of you know what I mean. There is still snow falling as this project posts. So to celebrate my love of Spring and flowers I decided to make a fun easel Nosegay to keep me in the Spring mode!
I am in love with my eBosser and used it with one of my lovely Craftwell emBossing folders. One of my all time favorite ones in the letter sized group, Regency! I used aluminum tape that can be purchased at any hardware store. It conforms very easily to a thing of beauty when emBossed. I then placed it on my project after I stamped the cardstock.
I used colored Mulberry paper which I used a Sizzix Bigz Die - Flowers, 3-D #2 to make the nosegay flowers. I love the way that I can place multiple sheets of paper or even fabric and get a great out come! You fold the paper or fabric into quarters and then place it on the die and it makes a beautiful flower.
I also used my eCraft and a Penny Duncan SVG file to create the card. I love the “easel” style card. I was perfect for my creation. I also used some gouache to add color to my project. I really love my ebosser and hope to make several other “Nosegays” for my friends.
Have a wonderful Spring! Just wait for my “dessert” inspired creation for next week”
