Design Team: Celeste Collette Week 9 Term 5

Felt Notebooks

Felt is so versatile! Either that, or Celeste comes up with pretty good ideas! See her cute notebook re-do below!

Materials needed:
Felt
Journal
eBosser
embroidery floss
glue
Sizzix circles die and flowers die
Platform A and C

My kids love to color and draw, and they always fight over notebooks and paper. I decided that I would buy them a “drawing journal” and make it special for them. All I did is cover the front and back of the journal with felt and then with the eBosser I cut out circles and different flowers. I really like using the sizzix dies with the eBosser because all you need is Platform A and C and it cuts as many as 4 layers of felt at once!! After that I went an added them to the front of their journals, you can do that any way you like. For the boy one I sewed all the circles with one straight line and with the flowers I just added a little bit of decorative stitching and glued them to the journal. Now I hope I don’t have any more fights over paper or notebooks!

Thank you Celeste!

Are you loving how easy it is to use felt in projects? We think felt should be added to more scrapbook layouts! What are your thoughts?
