Hello Everyone! I had such a fun time working with the gorgeous Lawn Fawn paper and cute stamps! Thank you Lawn Fawn for sponsoring us this month! It is a breeze to get perfect die cuts with Lawn Fawn’s matching stamps and dies using the eBosser! Isn’t this giraffe a cutie? He is part of the Critters on the Savanna stamp set. Stamp the giraffe on white card stock and color as desired. Die cut the image with the matching Lawn Fawn die by first making a blank template so that you can line up the die with image in the following steps:
Tape the die to blank card stock so the tape makes a hinge.
Run the die through the eBosser using the plate/sandwich combo for thin metal dies: (from bottom up) D, E, B, C, die cutting edge up, card stock, A.
Remove the blank giraffe.
Open then die hinge and lay the template over your colored image and tape into place with removable tape.
Close hinge and turn upside down to die cut in the same plate combination as above.
To make the card, stamp the Lawn Fawn sentiment in the upper right corner of a 3 x 3.75 inch piece of white card stock. Layer this panel onto a 3-1/8 x 3-7/8 inch Carob brown Bazzill card stock. Wrap bakers twine around the panel assembly and tie on a button. Stamp and color the tree image from the Critters on the Savanna Lawn Fawn set. Hand cut the tree out leaving a little border so it will match the die cut giraffe. Glue the tree directly to the panel with right branches overhanging the panel. Attach the giraffe with pop dots. Prepare the card base. Layer a 4-1/8 x 4-7/8 inch piece of the DP from Lawn Fawn’s Pink Lemonade Collection Kit onto the brown card. Mine is the reverse side of the “Juice” paper. Card is 4-3/8 x 5-1/8 inch left fold Carob brown Bazzill. Pop dot the image panel onto the card and add 4 dew drops in the corners.
