Design Team: Debi Tullier Week 6 Term 5

To My Sweet Valentine!

All good things must come to an end... The Valentine's Day design team challenge is over, but not before showing Debi's special Valentines project!

I am so fortunate and I know it. I have been redoing my sewing/craft room and mentioned how hard it was to make videos. You know the ones that the camera seems to be suspended above the work. Well my Valentine jumped up and designed a device that holds my camera and also makes it possible to move it back and forth and right and left with little effort. I was totally surprised. So of course I have many surprises for him in the near future..LOL. I started with my Valentines’ Day card, usually I buy him a card but I decided to make a special one for him. A one of a kind just like him!

I fell in love with one of SVGcuts great Valentine’s cards. It is the Swirly Heart Card from the “For My Valentine” collection. I love it but decided to use colors which were more to my husband’s liking. I also did some minor changes to the design but very minor. I love the pearl papers that are made by Core’dinations. I like the muted tones that I selected for his card.

I cut my cardstock with my eCraft. It cuts the Cardmaker Series cardstock oh so easily. The design popped out so nicely. I used a pressure of 6.5 and no tab setting.

I used my eBosser to add texture to the background of the card. I also took a white stamp pad and used it to highlight the embossed area.

I love the way his card came out and only hope that he likes it as well. I will let you know what he says about it!

I wish all of you a
Happy Valentines’ Day!
Debi

Thank you Debi!
