Autumn Paper Acorns!

There is just something special about Autumn. From the changing leaves, to the cooler breeze, Autumn just makes things homey. Today, KimberlyRae is using an Autumn staple to create a lovely little treat box, that we are sure will make someone feel extra special!

HiHi Crafters and Happy Wednesday!  WooT WooT– it’s the middle-of-the-week and it’s time to get your Craft on!
This morning, as I took my 3rd grader to school was it ever Chilly!  Brrrrr…even had to flip the heater on.  Fall is in the air here, for sure…the leaves are starting to change color and pretty soon we’ll be grabbin’ rakes and headin’ out to the lake to rake leaves and gather nuts…ahhhhhhhhhh!  Can’t wait!

Acorns that is…….Ok, so we are going to give this to Camron’s teacher full of  ahemm…fall nuts!  It’s a lil funny and a box she can put ‘other’ stuff in.

I used SVGcuts ‘Autumn Acorn’ kit to create this cute acorn.
Also, in this kit is a file of EXTRAS and that’s where I gathered up the pumpkin and leaves and made the tag.  You will also find a sweet lil owl and squirell and even a corn field. WooT!

The charmming little black button was created with my eBosser by Craftwell  and My Favorite Things Button dies and Maya Road twine.
With the eBosser’s 8.5×12″ format you can place several embossing folders on at a time…

and just look at that crisp emboss..Wow!
Hint: to get a sheen on your paper button use clear nail polish, in a well ventilated area.

Papers I used are all from WorldWin paper company.  The Metallic shimmery heavy duty cardstock made my acorn box very sturdy and I think it will hold up for years to come!

Thank you for stoppin’ by today!
Hugs and Blessings,

Thank you KimberlyRae!

Isn't this the cutest project?! And how easy to put together, thanks to the eBosser!

  5. If you order the SVGcuts ‘Autumn Acorn’ kit what else do you need to make the acorn box? This is so cute I want to make some but I think you have to have some kind of cutting machine, am I right?

    1. Lynne,

I believe she used the silhouette for this project.
