Design Team: Denise O'Connor Week 4 Term 4

Denise O'Connor: Inside CHA's Summer Show!

Denise O'Connor was chosen to attend the CHA Summer Show last week, where the eBosser was officially released! And of course, we asked her to take pictures of her fun experience and give us a look at the products to keep an eye for! Not to mention, pictures of all the booth's creative displays! See some of her favorites below!

I have A LOT to share with you today!! I was hoping to have another eBosser video ready for you, but unfortunately time did not permit me to get it ready in time for this post. As I mentioned last week, I have been doing demos of the eBosser at CHA. I have some pictures from CHA to share with you today including some shots of things that we cut with the eBosser!
First off, I thought I would share with you something that I just love about CHA…the booth displays! Some booths are over-the-top fabulous and others are sweetly simple. No matter what, each booth has something wonderful to show! So without further adieu…let’s take a look!

Right as you enter CHA, DCWV is there with this massive display! The haunted houses are all decorated with DCWV paper and there are also strips of their paper on the owl at the very top!

The Idealogy booth is always one to see because Tim Holtz decorates it himself. I love seeing all these small vintage elements collaged to decorate the top of the bookcases that show off his product line.

Jazmin over at Team Craftwell asked me to get pictures from the Dear Lizzy line over at American Crafts. I just love how they incorporated regular old clipboard to display their projects!

Another thing that is always fun to see are the crafted dresses! These ladies take “out of the box” materials and create wearable art. This dress is made from metal and is actually sewn together. I have to say…WOW!

The 7 Gypsies booth was stunning! Everything was really well laid out and the finishing touches just made it all work! I LOVE the umbrellas and the half table sticking out of the wall.

October Afternoon totally invited you into their booth by sharing little “sneak peeks” on the outside with you. P.S. Can’t wait to get this paper!

Can you say gorgeous? I love the bi-fold doors with the mannequin dressed in paper and I was especially taken with the frames on either side. Each frame showcases a different color.

How about this for some fun? This pedestal was completely covered in washi tape from Queen & Co. I just love how the rolls were left on the sides too!

La Blanche Stamps had lots of goodies in their booth. I just adore some of their new stamps!

Authentique stole my heart with these ladder shelves. I have seen them on Pinterest, and just loved how Authentique utilized it here to share some finished projects.

Graphic 45 is spectacle! The enormous clock is off course the highlight, but once you get in the booth, there are SO many interesting things to see!

Later this week, I will be sharing some more pictures on my blog including some of the things that I want to get and also some of the things that I want to re-create!

Now since we were doing demos of the eBosser at the show, I was able to swipe some samples of the things that we were able to do with the eBosser, so here are some pictures for you of that!

How about some embossed reflective vinyl and some chipboard! The eBosser gets such a nice deep emboss!

These are some doilies cut from some Cherry Lynn dies on 110 lb. cardstock. Not only can you see the fine details really well, but you can cut these with the eBosser in only one pass and without a metal shim! If you have ever cut these before, then you know that with most machines, they have to go through a few times before they will cut all the way through.

Now, this is really cool! This is also from a Cherry Lynn die and cut with the eBosser from fabric! I will definitely be sharing how to accomplish this in a future video!
Hope you all enjoyed the pics today! I will be back next week with another eBosser video!
