We have some new faces! Meet our Tuesday's Designer, Kim Gaughan! She has amazing style, and some serious crafting chops! We are thrilled to have her on board on this term, and can't wait to see what she comes up with!
Ready to meet her? Read on!
I'm Kim Gaughan, I live in New Jersey and have been crafting pretty much my entire life. About a year ago I bought my first electronic cutting machine. I still love that machine, but around September of 2011, I was looking at some really great svg kits online and was dying to make them! I started researching machines that would cut svg files, and saw the eCraft. I was really intrigued by the matless cutting system and, lucky for me; a website had the eCraft on sale so I purchased one! There was a learning curve for me coming from another machine to the eCraft and I am constantly learning new tips and tricks when using it and reading other eCrafter's blogs. I love my eCraft and use it almost every day! I would describe my style as eclectic. There are so many different things that I am inspired by. Anything from retro to rock to vintage, steampunk, cute, glittery, pretty things, I also love learning and trying new styles and challenging myself. I love creating 3D projects (they're my favorite right now) and making cards, altered projects, and stamping. Other crafty things I like to do are sewing, crocheting and making jewelry. I also love cooking, going to concerts, decorating for the holidays (especially Halloween since the Fall is my favorite season!), and hanging out with my boyfriend, family and friends.
