Lisa Somerville: Fall Plate

October is flying by faster than one can catch up! With the seasons changing and the autumn leaves beginning to fall, it inspires us to create some projects that will be perfect for the Thanksgiving season! This is why we are loving Lisa's project! She took the beauty of the outside, and is bringing it inside with the help of the eCraft and Square 1.

Glass Etching Using Printable Adhesive Fabric
Designer – Lisa Somerville

Details:
Printable Adhesive Fabric Square 1
eCraft Images from eCraft Central – Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Leaf 3
Glass Plate
Amour Etch Cream

eCraft Settings:
Pressure Setting – 2
Tab Density –0
Tab Width – 0
Multi Cut – 0
Blade Cap – on
Card Stock Stabilizer used for all images cut from eCraft

Open Software (I used SCAL 3) add 7” x 7” Circle (or circle the diameter of your plate), add Leaf images, rotating and resizing to fit within your circle.  Place Square 1 Adhesive Fabric on card stock stabilizer, cut images.
Remove cut Circle image, adhere to class plate.  (Save cut leaves for a future project)

Apply Etching Cream, wait 15 minutes for cream to react, then rinse off and remove Fabric Adhesive.

The results are subtle and very nice for any fall decor!

How beautiful is that?! We are loving how simple yet elegant it looks! Are you ready for fall?
