Birthday Orchids

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, with a beautiful floral birthday card that I made for my daughter's birthday recently. If you've seen my posts, you probably know I love floral cards especially adding 3 dimensional flowers. Orchids are one of the most beautiful flowers, my grandmother had a lot of them in her house.

I started by making the beautiful orchids. The dies are from one of Susan's Garden older set called Cattleya Orchids. I die cut them on my Craftwell SNAP. I used my Copics to add some shading to the die cuts before shaping them and putting them together. I die cut some oval pieces in white and purple and adhered the orchids and leaves to it. Added a simple birthday sentiment from an old Verve stamp set.

What do you think about this card? Please do let me know. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Lily Of The Valley Basket

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, with a beautiful floral project perfect for Spring!

I love this Lily of the Valley from Susan's Garden dies. I created a bunch of the inflorescence and leaves. My Craftwell SNAP made it a breeze to die cut multiples of them. I made the basket using Divinity Designs - Bountiful Baskets die and embossed it with Craftwell - Woodgrain Cottage embossing folder. I added a piece of thermocol to the basket, so that I could arrange the flowers and pin them. I broke few tooth picks in half and added them to the flower inflorescence and leaves with a very thin washi tape. This helped me pin them to the thermocol inside the basket. This was so much fun to make!

How do you like this project? I have it on my work desk and it makes me happy.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Farewell Gladioli

Hello everyone! This is Berina here today, with a floral farewell card made with some die cut flowers.

I started with the background - I embossed a piece of 5 x 7 card stock with Craftwell - Woodgrain Cottage embossing folder on my Cut N Boss and smooshed some light brown ink on it. This adds some more depth to the embossed feature. For making the flowers and the basket, I used the die set from Spellbinders Susan's Garden on my SNAP. I shaped the flower layers with flower shaping tools and adhered them with glue. I used foam tape to adhere the basket down, to give it some dimension. The fern leaves are dies from Spellbinders. I did not add a sentiment, since I made this card as a farewell gift from a bunch of us to a dear friend who moved to a different town, so that everyone can add their wishes on the inside of the card.

What do you think of the card? Please do let me know in the comments below. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!

Framed Coreopsis

Hello everyone!! This is Berina here today, with a beautiful floral card using Susan's Garden dies.

One of our friends recently moved to a different city and I made this card for all of our friends to sign an a memento for them. What's better than a floral card? I had bought this die quite some time back and have used it  few time. This time, I decided to make the flowers in more Fall-ish colors. I followed Susan's videos to make the flowers. I used my Craftwell SNAP to die cut all the layers. I don't have all the flower shaping tools, so shaped them with what I have. I seemed fitting to add a frame for these flowers. I cut out a frame out of brown card stock and embossed it with Craftwell - Woodgrain Cottage embossing folder. I added this frame with foam tape on my 5 x 7 card base. Then I arranged the flowers and leaves and adhered them down. I didn't know what sentiment to add, so left it blank.

How do you like my card today? Please do let me know in the comments below. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day!
