Inspirational Flower Garden Canvas

Hi friends! Linsey here today sharing my latest Craftwell project--an inspiring canvas that will be wonderful anywhere it is placed. This wall art makes a lovely home décor piece and would be great for a dorm room or craft space too!
Once again, I used the SNAP Machine, which is fast becoming my new favorite crafting tool. This little guy works just like the original Cut'n'Boss Electric Embosser and Die Cutter, only it's smaller and it packs a whole lotta punch! No manual labor here--just happy, hands-free electronic embossing and die cutting. What could be better?
I first cut all my felt pieces, then arranged them onto a 10x10" stretched canvas covered with a wood grain patterned paper. The large flowers each have a clear sentiment sticker placed in the center. The smaller flowers have button centers with hemp string tied into double bows.
I wanted to experiment with the Teresa Collins Honeycomb Project Die and see if it would work as a chicken wire-type fence for my scene....I think it was a success! I cut thin cardboard (cereal/snack box) material with the Honeycomb Die 3 times, then did the same with a coordinating pattern paper. I then covered each piece of cut cardboard with a piece of cut pattern paper, creating a bit more dimension and interest. Finally, I placed along the bottom portion of the canvas to form my chicken wire fence for my inspirational flower garden!
And that's all for me, folks! Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today! I've enjoyed sharing my project with you and I hope you've been inspired in some way to make a fabulous creation of your own with awesome Craftwell products! Until next time, many blessings and happy crafting!

Mixed Media Journal by Karen Jiles

Hi there,

It’s Karen, sharing this Mixed Media Journal created with the “Honeycomb” Embossing Folder, Honeycomb Project Die, Cut N Boss machine and the Snap machine. I really enjoyed creating this journal. It has loads of visual and physical texture created with the Honeycomb embossing folder and project die. I used a sanding bar to expose the embossed impressions of the honeycomb pattern in the folder and the honeycomb project die was perfect to create a stencil with. Take a look at how this project came together in the tutorial below.

 Supplies:

Mini Blank Notebook/Journal

Gray Whitecore Cardstock

Watercolor paper

Corrugated Board

Sanding Bar

Gesso

Stamp

Black Ink

Glimmer Mists

Dyed Ribbon
Cropadile
Eyelet

Trimmer

Paintbrush

Step 1: Place full sheet of cardstock into the “Honeycomb” embossing folder. Close the folder and insert into the Cut N Boss machine by Craftwell.

Step 2: Remove the embossed cardstock from the Cut N Boss and the embossing folder and trim it down to the size of journal.

Step 3: Adhere cardstock to blank journal and sand the embossed cardstock with sanding bar to expose the whitecore-creating a distressed effect.  Set journal aside.

Step 4: Run Honeycomb die through the Snap machine with watercolor paper.

Step 5: Release the watercolor paper honeycomb die cut from the die.

Step 6: Place the honeycomb die cut on a layering piece of watercolor paper and spray mists onto the die cut paper transferring the honeycomb pattern to the watercolor paper. Let dry.

Step 7: Using black ink, stamp image onto inked patterned watercolor paper.
Step 8: Using Cropadile, punch holes in stamped watercolor paper. Adhere gessoed corrugated board and eyelet.
Step 9: Adhere stamped watercolor paper and corrugated board layer to the front of the distressed journal cover. Add dyed ribbon to the eyelet and stamped watercolor paper.
Step 10:  Apply gesso to edges of ribbon.  Tap gesso over journal with a paintbrush. Continue embellishing as desired.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that this Mixed Media Journal has inspired you!

Smile! It's Spring!!

Hello everyone! It's Berina here today, with a lovely Spring-y card. Here's my card for today:

I started by die cutting the Honeycomb die on a brown card stock. Then I embossed a piece of white card stock with the Love Triangles embossing folder. I adhered it on to a piece of yellow card stock and adhered it on to a top folding A2 card base. I adhered the beautiful honeycomb die cut on to the embossed panel. I used the same yellow cardstock and an orange card stock to cut a few flowers with the dies from the Karen Burniston - Flower Pot Pop-Up Die Set. I also die cut a few bees and leaves using the dies from the same set. I sprayed water on the the flowers and leaves and shaped them with my embossing tools. I then arranged them on top of the honeycomb die cut and adhered them down with glue. I used white pearls for flower centers. I then die cut the sentiment from Inspired By Stamping - Smile die on a piece of yellow cardstock and also from 2 fun foam sheets - all in one go on my Cut N Boss! I adhered the layers together and then adhered it on to the card. Finally the bees - I used foam tape to adhere them on to the card.

How do you like my card today? Do let me know in the comments below. I'm so excited to have got my Cut N Boss machine! I love it!! It was so easy to cut multiple layers together and no hand cranking! I got a perfect cut every time!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

I layered my pieces onto a card base.

I used stickles to embellish and that was it!
Super Cute right?
