DT: Happy Birthday Card

Dear Scrappers,

This is Veronica, from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing my post for Craftwell:
For this post, I decided to recycle a stamped image I made for a previous post and make it a card for a friend:

I had heat embossed the bluebonnet image on watercolor paper and used water colors to paint it. Now I used the colored image and mounted on a blank card using 3D dots.

Here are the materials I used and a short tutorial:

This is the final card:

A closer look to the layered die-cut frame:

I hope you enjoyed my daughter's creation and please make sure to visit my blog for more inspiration and to follow me.

Happy July and stay safe from this pandemic.

Ornament in a Box

eBrush Design Team: Peggy Oliver  Week 4 Cycle 3

This is such a creative and wonderful project!!...there is still time to make your mark and recycle!! Thank you Peggy for such a cool ornament!

Hello good day to you! I would love to show you how I made  my beautiful ornament from a recycled (dove) soap box using my eBrush from Craftwell USA.

supplies used today are:

                                             Sharpie Pen
recycled box
designer paper
double sided tape
pearl string to hang
embellishments as desired

I opened a box from the soap I currently do not need. It smells great.. lol
Then I cut out the front panel to give me a small shadow box.
I covered my box with designer paper and adhered the paper with double sided tape.

I made a small hole at the top of the box for a small light bulb to fit into. (bulb from the Christmas tree I will hang it on)

I had a tag from a Graphic 45 collection that I fussy cut and then eBrushed the sides to give a deep green edge.
I glued lace edging to the tag front. I also glued the tag now cut into a frame onto the front of my box.

I fussy cut all my paper and decided a partridge was going to hang in the center of the box. I attached it with a pearl string. Next I added gold embellishments on the front corners and placed a ribbon on the top.  I placed this on the tree and pushed a bulb through the hole in the top and I have a lit ornament.  I hope you enjoyed today's craft tutorial made using my eBrush by Craftwell

Warmly,

Peggy
