Only A Mother, (altered canvas)

Hello! Welcome to the Craftwell blog. Desiree', with you again!
Today, I'm sharing with you an altered canvas that I created.
Of course I started out doing what everyone does, choosing
what ingredients to use.
Here's a snapshot of what I decided to use.

So after that was decided, I knew I wanted to emboss!
I knew the embossing folder I wanted to use too, the Bella Rose
Before I embossed I cut my paper to 5x7 and sprayed it with
some Pearl Glimmer Mist.
Then I fired up my Cut 'N' Boss, stacked up my embossing "sandwich", and placed it all in my Cut 'N' Boss.
Once the machine was done, my paper was beautifully embossed!

I painted my canvas and did a little bit of sanding to bring out the Bella Rose texture even more!
Next step was to do a little decoupage and adhere my paper to the canvas.

After that dried, I was ready for stacking and placing the embellishments! Yay!
I took some pretty heart dies from my stash and cut them out with my Cut 'N' Boss machine. This machine is epic!
Not only is it not manual, it also has a 8.5 x 12 cutting/embossing abilities!
I love it. JS!
I placed my sticker with the Mother quote on it onto a piece of my shimmer paper, and then fussy cut around the sticker.
I adhered my little heart to the canvas, popped the bigger heart on some pop dots, and did the same for my fussy cut sticker for dimension.
I placed them on the canvas with some hot glue and added my gold bow.

Next, I clustered my flowers, a couple of leaves together, and then hot glued them to the canvas.
After that I took a crown die cut from my stash, I have had forever and added some bling and flat back pearls to it, then glued it to my canvas.
At this point, I was happy with where this project was and she was complete! A 3.5 x 3.5 photo can be ttucked behind / beside the hearts.
At the time of the post I just didn't have the pic with me.

As always I hope you were inspired! I hope you liked
 what you saw here today!
Thank you for visiting the Craftwell blog, please don't be a stranger.
I also want to wish every mom past, present, and future a super blessed Mother's Day!

 Sincerely,
         Desiree'
