String of Hearts

Origami Hearts! These puffy vellum beauties are fun to fold, but even more fun to add color and embossing to.
Let's get started.
You'll need
Vellum (4 inch squares)
eBrush with marker adaptor
Markers (Tombow for this project)
LED Fairy lights (20 lights on a string)
embossing folder
Cut-n-Boss
Glue (optional)
Cut the squares. Emboss, color as desired. Using the eBrush makes it EZ to color the vellum in any shade or hue to go with your home or party decor. I used some soft colors in pink and yellow for these samples. Leave a few plain if you'd like.
Fold the squares as demoed in this video.
Before "closing" the heart, place on the light strand and secure the bottom of the heart. You can still adjust the placement as the hearts will slide along the wire.
Thanks for stopping by! For additional ideas for using the eBrush or the Cut-n-Boss, stop by my blog. Hope you'll make some time to craft today! Have fun!
