Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Alexia Misso Cycle 10
We have seen a card, and a treat box, but have you seen a card that can hold treats?! If not, see it for yourself! Alexia Misso came up with this genius idea that we will scrapsteal!
Hi all, Happy
Thursday! I'm glad to be here today to share a project idea with you - I
created this birthday card or holder that you can actually put treats in the
card/holder. Let’s talk a look what I'm talking about here. I used chipboard
for the base so the finish project won't be too fragile to hold the candies.
Would you like to know how to create this? I'll share the tutorial with you
below!
Tutorial Starts Here:
Step 1: Line up a 12x12 Chipboard on a scoring
board and score at 5", 5 1/2" and 10 1/2". Then turn the
chipboard around 45 degree counter clockwise and score at 7". Trim the
excess, you will get a 5"x7" card with 1/2" in width.
Step 2: This is result the from Step 1. Use the
die from Teresa Collins and run it through Cut 'n' Boss machine. Set aside
cut-out.
Step 3: Choose a pattern paper, trace the window
from inside of the card and cut a window as pictured below. Adhere the pattern
paper to the card.
Step 4: Apply adhesive around the window on the
inside of the card and adhere the candy bag (with opening side facing up).
Step 5: Now use the cut out from Step 2, adhere to
the front of card (right on top of the candy bag).
Here is how it
should looks like:
Step 6: Using the same patterned paper for the
card, trim a piece that fit in the candy bag as shown below.
Step 7: Prepare embellishments using Teresa
Collins' dies.
Step
8: Embellish
card/holder! When you are done embellishing, insert candies into the bag,
remember to seal the opening of the bag. Now this card/holder is ready to go
out!

you are going to bring joy to the one who receives this treat card/holder!
Happy creating! -Alexia
