When it comes time to give, what matters is the thought, and some creative packaging! See today's cute bag & ornament by Pam Bray!
Hi, I want to share with you today how to give special Christmas Ornaments that include a pretty package...both are so easy to make.
First, cut out a bag from you favorite digital die cut machine or you could make one using a punch board or buy a premade one. Die cut a pretty center out of the bag and place a piece of acetate in the back. My bag had a cut out for the digital cut so it was super easy...I cut one in printed paper and then the center from card stock and ran it through my Cut N' Boss using a Holy Embossing Folder.
Now the fun part, making a bow from your Spellbinders Border Die Cut....I began cutting 3 from Authentique Paper.
I will be placing this ornament inside my bag to give at Thanksgiving...that is a family tradition to give each of our family a special ornament after dinner. My ornament is a pre-bought paper mache retangele I purchased from our local craft store and Authentique paper to the top along with a canvas doily, inking the edges.
I made an ornament by running different pattern papers through the Cut N Boss using the Mix N Match Ornament Die Cut .
Place the red piece to the top of the ornament and add the next two layer that are adhered together with pop dots to the top. I added small number stickers to the bottom of the ornament so it would be dated.
I hope you have enjoyed my bow tutorial and try making a few this year for not only bags but other holiday packaging.
