Well this week is especially fun as we've been challenged to create back-to-school projects! I created a note journal for my best friends daughter, Kilei. I love making personalized journal's and I think they are great gifts for everyone! They can be used for Journals, Art journals, Diaries, "smash books", or even just for list makers like me! I have a journal for everything from my blog, design team project ideas and drawings, grocery store lists, meal planning, and more!
This paper is from me-ology collection from Fancy Pants Designs. Each piece is pretty perfect don't you think!! I love every page in this collection! If I didn't need it for a design team post they would have been one of those "save it because you love it too much to use it" papers!
I cut the Blue Chevron cardstock to size leaving some of the black from the original composition folder and rounded the corners. I used the eBosser and Chevron die from Cheery Lynn Designs for the border (and it hides where the cardstock meets the original folder nicely).
Now usually I will fancy up the inside, however the inside has a math chart and this is for school, so I did leave it in tact, but the back is identical to the front without the Embellishments.
Even the stickers in the collection are simply perfect! I just love this one! Don't you! I fussy cut around the flowers and adhered and placed the pink Alpha stickers for Kilei's name. That's all it takes to make a beautiful, custom notebook for those you love!
