'Family' Home Decor Frame

Jessica Kephart Week 13 Cycle 9

We begin the week with some pretty home decor by Jessica Kephart! See her tutorial below!

Good Morning everyone! Jessica here from Homespun Elegance again for another fabulous project with our July Featured Sponsor,CORE'dinations Color Core Cardstock!

I created a Vintage Home Decor piece today using the Vintage Collection from CORE'dinations and the eBosser and Craftwell Embossing folders! I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you love creating Home Decor piedes the eBosser is for you! With 8x10 folders and larger die capabilities the possibilities are endless!!

Here is how I made it! First, use your CORE'dinations paper and eBosser and embossing folder. Sand the emboss using the CORE'dinations sanding block. Make sure it fits your frame. I always back mine with an 8x10 piece of cardboard. Using a circular object trace a circle on your piece to use as a guide for placing the leaves for your wreath.

Die cut your leaves. Here I used Avery Elles dies and an old book that I had lying around. I curled up the edges of the leaves and added layers upon layers until I had a finished look that I loved. Here is a close up of the Vintage CORE'dinations paper and the adorable embossing folder! Don't they just look perfect together!!

To finish it off I used seam binding for a bow and added the word "Family" with American Crafts Amy Tangerine Thickers.

How easy is that?!? And seriously, the final product is so adorable!! I'm thinking Christmas Gifts!!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!! Come back each day for a new project with the eBosser and CORE'dinations!!
