Design Team: Liz (Unik By Yes) Week 16 Cycle 9
As we get closer to school being back in session, we start thinking of those back to school teacher gifts! And today, Liz shares with us a cute bookmark giftcard holder idea! See the tutorial below!
Hello Crafty Friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I want to share
with you another little box, this one is a gift card holder. I love the way our
Core’dinations cardstock makes any project look more polished effortlessly ;),
gotta love that!
For this box I used a template found on 350 Cards &
Gifts Magazine, but instead of using an image for the cover I used Core’dinations
Card Stock embossed and distressed.
Creative supplies:
Core'dinations Textured Brights collection
Core'dinations Solid Dyed Smooth Texture
Permanent double sided tape
Scissors
Seam binding ribbon
Washi tape
Sentiment (mine is from CASual Fridays) on the card holder
Regency Craftwell EF
eBosser
Creative process:
Cut the template. Using thin dies cut a 6x4” piece of
Core’dinations and run it thru my eBoser using Craftwell's Regency embossing
folder.
Assemble the box and glue to cover. Please note that I folded the top tabs in half
to create the opening for the “bookmark”. For the “gift card holder/bookmark”
use a 6x 2.25” rectangle and score at 2” on the long side. Fold over and run a
piece of Washi tape around it to create a pocket for your card. Punch a hole on
the top and add a tassel using some embroidery floss.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Have a super crafty day!
Liz
