Whale Cupcake
Topper Tutorial
Today we have a slightly different tutorial from our resident Scrapper, Sam! She recently celebrated her adorable babies 1st birthday and no detail was forgotten! See how she transformed her babies special day into a sea adventure!
Hello everyone! This is Sam today
to share a simple tutorial on how I made these cupcake muffin toppers for my
baby’s first birthday.
Firstly, you will need a whale stamp set with coordinated
dies. The stamp set and dies I used is from Studio Calico.
I use washi tapes to position the dies on white cardstock to
minimize wastage of papers. I die cut about 40 whales on 2 pieces of A4 sized
cardstocks.
Once finished die-cutting, I started stamping the whales in
blue and orange inks to match the theme of his birthday party.
Fiskar Stamp Press is very handy now as it is makes
positioning the stamp on die cuts much easier.
Then I stick toothpicks behind the whales with washi tapes
and it is done!
It is very simple and took me about an hours to finish 40
cupcake toppers.
Thanks for looking! XoXo, Sam.
