Design Team: Celeste Collette Week 22 Cycle 8

For the Record

We are loving the 'hello my name' is collection by Teresa Collins! Seriously! Very classic, and perfect for family projects! See how Celeste Collete used this collection, in today's project!

Lately, I’ve been thinking that I need to keep a better record of my kids for my kids (if you know what I mean). We all have those moments when our kids say things that have made us laugh and wished we could have recorded or written some of those things down. So for this week’s project I will show you what I made for me, to keep track of all those fun moments in my kids life.
Here’s what I used:
A plain notebook
Teresa Collins “Hello my name is” paper
Chalkboard tape
glue
I took this simple and plain looking notebook that I bought from my craft store for a dollar.

I then cut out this polka dot paper (“Words” paper from Teresa Collins) to fit the front of the notebook. I then glued “For the Record” on top of it, this is found on the “Record” paper.
I put some stickers on there that are also from the Teresa Collins new line “Hello my name is”

After that I went ahead and started to cut out little paper tags to put my kids names on them (just like the picture below)

I used the letter stickers to add the kids name.
At the end I used some black chalkboard tape to go on the binding of the book.

So this how my book looked when I was all done! What do you think?

Do you like collections that have many patterns but only two or three colors to create? Let us know what you think!
