Design Team: Lyssa Zimmerman Week 17 Cycle 8

Banner LOVE! We absolutely love decorating for Valentines! And it seems Lyssa is already ahead of the game with this banner decor! See the details below!

Valentine's Day season is upon us.  And with some lunch bags I had left over from all the other banners I was making, I decided to make one for Valentine's Day!

Again, Summer Stories line from Teresa Collins is amazing.  It is a perfect line for families, Valentine's Day or anything LOVE.

Supplies Used:

4 Lunch bags
Summer Stories Line from TC
Chipboard "XOXO" letters I had on hand.

Cabbage Rose Embossing Folder from TC

I started with the lunch bags and cut them into triangles, (or tried to anyways!
I took the chipboard letters and put them through the Ebosser with the folder.  It turned out amazing.  Chipboard has nothing on this machine! Then I took some ink and inked the embossed image to show.

I then embellished each banner.  This is always the fun part :)

Do you decorate for Valentine's Day?  What's your favorite kind?

Thank you Lyssa!

Don't you love how easy and frugal this decoration is? Did you know you can do this with brown paper bags?

  1. Great idea to use the Paper bags for the pennants Lyssa!!! Your banner is lovely TFS
    Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thanks Liz! I appreciate it! It's a great way to cut costs, that's for sure!
