Design Team: Caroline Duncan Week 9 Cycle 7

Colorful Fall

Happy September everyone! As always, with a new month comes a new sponsor! And this month we are excited to feature  American Crafts!  Yep, and we cannot tell you how excited the design team was when they heard that they would be working with Amy Tangerine, Maggie Holmes products etc!

See what Caroline Duncan created today!

Hi Everyone!  Since the weather has a little Fall-ish feel to it in my part of North Carolina, I made a Fall Foliage card to share with you using some fun paper from the Amy Tangerine Collection that our September sponsor, American Crafts, sent me to create with this month.  It’s a gorgeous collection!  The “On the Edge” dots design is so colorful… just like autumn leaves.  I used my eBosser to die cut a maple leaf from the DP and again from a blue toned Color Core card stock to leave a leaf shaped hole in the card stock panel before embossing it with the swirls, also in my eBosser.  Then I layered it over a piece of the same colorful dots and wrapped a piece of navy organza around it.  I cut a thin strip of the chevrons from the Amy Tangerine “Command V” paper to wrap around over the ribbon and stamped a simple ‘hello’ on the strip.  I layered the whole assembly to a left fold card made from Bazzill ‘Dusk’ card stock and added a button to finish the card.
