On Santa's List
Christmas in August? Better start early! And with Teresa Collin's embossing folder and paper line, 'Santa's List' that is very tempting to do! See why Caroline Duncan couldn't resist below:
Hi Everyone! Today I have a sweet Christmas card created with the new Teresa Collins Craftwell “Beautiful Brocade” letter sized embossing folder and some of her new “Santa’s List” Collection papers. I love that the embossing folder is letter sized so that I can create larger cards to allow the gorgeous embossing to show without covering it all up with the other pieces!
The deep emboss the eBosser creates is like no other – it is so crisp and pronounced!
It’s just gorgeous on the white card stock I used. The white piece measures 6-1/8 x 8.25 inches and after embossing, I layered it onto a deep red before wrapping an organza ribbon around. Then the panel was adhered to a 6.5 x 8-5/8 inch left fold card. So 6.5 inches X 2 is bigger than the 12 inch piece of paper you’re thinking. Yes, it is. To make an oversized card, you add 2 inches to your width of the front and score it at the 2 inch mark. Then you cut another panel the size of your card and you align that up on the inside of the fold and glue in place. I cut the Santa’s List papers using circle dies, pop-dotted them in place and added a few faux pearls. It’s a beautiful card and the eBosser and embossing folder did all the work for me!
