Design Team: Celeste Collette Week 4 Cycle 7

Felt Flower Headband

Wondering if you can use 'The Best Glue Ever' by ScraPerfect on felt? Wonder no more! See how Celeste utilize it in today's adorable project!

As you all know I love working with felt and last week I showed you how ScraPerfect’s best glue ever worked well with my little felt flower rosette. So this week I wanted to try it again on a bigger project, so I went ahead and made a headband.

I made all these felt circles and sewed them with my sewing machine. I used to use hot glue to put together my headbands, but now that I have this glue I wanted to try it and so I put a little bit of glue on the edges of the circles (like in picture below)

The one thing you need to know about this glue, a little bit goes a long way!

And here it is all the flowers and leaves “glued” on and not a single mess!

This is where I was a little skeptical, I didn’t think this glue would be able to keep the flowers on the headband. I was surprised once more, after letting it dry the flowers didn’t move one bit!!

Here’s the headband! So if you or someone you know is looking for a glue that will work on fabrics, paper, felt and lots of other items ScraPerfect’s best glue ever is the glue to get!

  1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these flowers!!! BTW, often when I work with felt, I let the Best Glue Ever dry to clear on one piece (and it gets VERY tacky!!!) before pressing the other piece together. It's sure to hold and no fuss or muss -- or mess either:)
