Welcome to the Neighborhood Card
Chalk can be fun, just ask kids! But who knew you could dress up a card with your kids art tools?! See how Celeste Collette dressed up a gorgeous card using Crafter's Companion embossing folder and her little girls chalk!
Supplies:
eBosser
Crafters Companion 8" X 8" Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Regency Damask
Cardstock
Crayola Chalk
Ribbon
Brads
Paint Chip any color
Q-tip
I’ve been having so much fun using Crafter’s Companion embossing folders with the eBosser, they have seriously opened the door to new possibilities using paper. Like I said before, making cards has never been an easy thing for me to do, maybe because I just didn’t have the right tools. Thanks to Craftwell’s eBosser and Crafter’s Companion I have created another card...yay.
Just a week ago we had new next door neighbors moved in and I wanted to welcome them to the neighborhood, so I bought some yummy cinnamon rolls from Great Harvest and decided to make a card. I went ahead and embossed the cardstock with Crafter’s Companion Embossalicious Embossing Folder - Regency Damask, I love this folder!
I wanted to do something different with this card so I took my little girls Crayola Chalk and Q-tips and individually added some color to the card.
I think it added the perfect amount of character to this card, I like it.
Then I took a strip of a paint chip card and took the printed “Welcome to the Neighborhood” (that I cut with my Spellbinders tags thin metal die) and with two cute little brads I joined all 3 pieces.
Add a little ribbon and ta-da all done! What do you think?
