Chevron Cake
Challenge Week Continues! We love that cakes can inspired some pretty amazing cards! See how Celeste answer the challenge of creating a card inspired by a cake!
When I first saw this cake I knew this was the one I wanted to use as my inspiration for a card.
I used paint chip cards and cut out “Chevron” stripes, glued them together and placed them on the card. I really love that flower on the cake and I really wanted to make sure that I had a similar one on my card, so I took some felt and took different size scalloped edge dies and ran them through the eBosser. The nice thing about using the eBosser with this project is using the magnetic shim so I could place all the different size thin metal dies and run them all through at the same time, it literally took me 30 seconds tops and I had a prefect little felt flower at the end.
