We have much to Celebrate today! The first week of the new design term begins! See what Caroline created today!
Hi Everyone! The Magic Celebration Embossing Folder is one of my favorites! Not only is it a pretty design, but it makes a quick and easy card. I used pre-glittered card stock and the eBosser creates a really nice deep emboss even on this glittered card stock. I used black StazOn ink to swipe on the raised embossed areas and edges after cutting the panels apart. The glitter is why I used the StazOn ink, but if you use regular card stock or designer paper, then any ink pad would work. The finished card I made is 5.5 x 8.75 inches since I’ve layered the embossed panel onto a black card. After cutting your 12 x 12 black card stock to 11.5 x 8.75 inches, score it with the long side at the top at the 3 and 8.5 inch marks, then fold into the gatefold card. The white inside panel is 5 x 8.25 inches. The flourish was die cut in my eBosser from the same glittered card stock. I added some punched butterflies, pop dotting their little wings, and a ribbon to close the card.
