The Perfect Pear
Ok, so Spring is officially here.. but may not be in your part of the woods! And if that's the case, what better to do than cozy up to a good book! See how Celeste created a cute bookmark to bring some Spring into her daily reading!
Materials Needed:
Felt
Spellbinders thin metal Die – Pears
eBosser
Glue
DMC floss
Paper Clip
This felt bookmark was pretty simple and easy to make.
Step 1.Set your platforms for a thin metal die, Here’s the platform combination
From bottom to top:
Platform D
Platform C
Platform B
Magnetic Shim
Cutting Die (spellbinders think metal die-pear)
Material (felt)
Platform A
Then you just run it through the eBosser, I love how well the eBosser cuts felt all the edges are so clean! I cut two green pears and a white one.
Step 2.I cut the white felt in half and cut out a couple little “seeds” with brown felt.
Step 3.Used DMC floss to stitch everything together.
Step 4.Set the paper clip in between the two layers of the green felt with a little bit of glue to hold in place.
You are done with the bookmark! How simple was that!
Thank you Celeste!
