Design Team: Kim Gaughan Week 6 Term 5

Love Card

The Valentine Day challenge week continues! Today is Kim Gaughan's turn! See what she created today!

I have really been in a card making phase lately. So I hope you all don't mind that I have another card to share! This Valentine's Day card has a few of my favorite things on it -- stamps, the colors pink and black, and embossing.
Supplies:
eBosser
Darice Heart Embossing Folder
Dies: Sizzix Ovals Framelits (size 1 1/8 x 2 5/8 and 1 1/2 x 3 inch ovals)
cardstock: white, black, pink
Colorbox Ink - Black and Raspberry
Stamps: Bombshell Stamps Tattoo Font (Love letters); Hampton Art (Heart with Wings)
Black Pearl Bling
Scorer and Paper Trimmer
Adhesive and Pop Dots
Scissors

First I cut a piece of white cardstock to 9 1/2" w by 6 1/2" h and scored it down the middle to make a 4 3/4" w by 6 1/4" tall card. I cut a piece of pink cardstock to 4" w x 5 1/2" h and embossed it with the Darice Heart Embossing Folder in my eBosser. I adhered the embossed cardstock onto the card. Next, I stamped 2 winged hearts in black and pink ink onto white cardstock. After the ink was dry, I cut out the 2 pink heart stamps and inked the edges. Then I fussy cut out the 2 black winged hearts with my scissors leaving some white around them. I attached the pink heart onto the black heart with a pop dot. Then I attached both winged hearts onto the embossed cardstock. I stamped the word LOVE onto a piece of white cardstock, let it dry, and then cut it out with the smaller oval die and the eBosser. I inked the edges and let it dry while I cut out the larger oval die in black cardstock. Then I adhered the ovals together with a glue dot and onto the card with a pop dot. I also added 3 black pearl pieces of bling onto the top left of the card.

Happy Valentine's Day! Or Happy Single's Awareness (Appreciation) Day! (Whichever you celebrate!)
