Design Team: Celese Collette Week 5 Term 5

Napkin Rings

We are loving felt! This is thanks to Celeste who is always coming up with ideas to utilize felt in different ways! Today, she has a tutorial to dress up your Valentines table!

See it below:

Materials Needed
Felt - Red and Pink
Key chain rings
Red ribbon
eBosser
Spellbinder Flower dies
Hot Glue
With Valentines around the corner I came up with this simple project, Valentine napkin ring holders. The steps are easy and I hope you all find them easy to follow.
First, for the flowers I used the thin metal dies from Spellbinders.

I layered the pink and red felt and made 3 different sizes of flowers, after the eBosser cut them all I layered them together with a small red brad.

Second, I moved on to the ring part by taking some red ribbon and gluing it to the inside of the key chain rings.

Third, I took some more red and pink felt and cut long strips for the “border” dies from Silhouette and used the eBosser to cut them.

Then I put the red on top of the pink and glued them together. I really like how the pink shows through the red hearts.

Fourth, I took the key chain rings and glued the long strips of felt around the ring. After that I took the flowers and glued them to the ring and that’s it all done!
