Design Team: Caroline Duncan Week 5 Term 5

Valentine's Day Card

Caroline Duncan has a love affair with the eBosser! See what gorgeous card she created today!

Hello Everyone! For my project this week, I decided to make a layered die cut Valentine card using my eBosser! There is only one more week until the Special Day, but you have time to make quick cards like this that look fantastic and have a wow factor when your loved one opens their card. With the eBosser, you can cut multiple dies of the same thickness at the same on the large cutting surface area. And if you want to make more than one card at a time, the eBosser will cut 2 or 3 sheets of card stock depending on the weight/thickness of the card stock. Just follow the recommended eBosser sandwich combination. For intricate dies like the ones I used, I always place a layer of regular kitchen waxed paper between the die and the card stock because it makes removing the die cut piece so effortless.

Product used:
eBosser by Craftwell
Bazzill card stock (Raven, Ruby Slipper)
Neenah Solar White card stock
Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight die
Heartfelt Creations HCD728 Timeless Amour Die
White organza ribbon
Prima Iced Stick Pin
The Bead Landing Pearl Stick Pin
Pop dots and foam tape
Instructions: 4.25 x 6 inch left fold card
Die cut the 3 largest dies of the Decorative Labels Eight in alternating colors of red and white card stock all at the same time in your eBosser. Thread organza ribbon through the cuts at the bottom of the largest die cut and wrap around before adhering it directly to the card base. Glue the smallest to the middle one and then pop dot the combo onto the card. Die cut the Timeless Amour lattice heart into red card stock and then position the larger lacey heart around the lattice and die cut again. Save the decorative lacy edge for a future project. Die cut the large heart again into white card stock and use only the outside lacy cut. Fit the red lattice heart inside the white lacy heart. Glue little strips of paper on the backside to hold the parts together. Use foam tape to attach the heart to the card. Embellish with a bow and a couple of stick pins. I thought the one by Prima looked like rock candy… so sweet and perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Thank you Caroline!
